Aside that novice crosspost #590 raises a good point, instead only staring at Commodore and Pindicator antics, we can also spend time checking others.
I already asked Bob who did also contribute little at day 1 same as me a question and he answered at post #578. Lewwyn, what are your thoughts about Bob's post #578?
I mean no one who is scum is going to say "I'm scum" seriously. They might joke about it to make the idea seem ridiculous and thereby dissuade people from voting for them, but I don;t see how you could take it seriously in a game like this, and I find your taking it seriously to be suspicious. Now if you had said that you think they're scum making jokes to throw people off the scent I'd be more inclined to think better of your vote.
You say novice's post is a good point, but who are you looking at then? Bob? or me?
Bob's post is a lot of words that doesn't add up to much for me. I don't think I see enough from that analysis to be sure of anything. I can see it being a villager trying to make some sense out of senselessness or scum trying to drum up content. There's too much uncertainty in the post due to thrawn's role. Additionally Bob identifies 4 people as null reads who were alone on people in the end:
* 1 vote: Commodore/Flipper (Jabbz)
* 1 vote: Gaspar/Gregory House (Gold Ergo Sum)
* 1 vote: Alhambram/Homer Simpson (Bobchillingworth)
* 1 vote: no lynch (Alhambram)
I agree to Jabbz being a null tell because he parked on comm so mch earlier and wasn't around for lynch. But also he was on Comm who was actually on the block going into the end.
BUT GES, Bob, and you Alhanbram are not null tells IMO, I look at these as more suspect votes out of the way out of notice.

Again I disagree. I don't think they are policy lynches. I think they are to be pushed, and possibly lynched. Rowain says he has no clue what GES is and I agree, so why is rowain voting fro COmm?
(October 3rd, 2020, 16:04)Rowain Wrote: Commodore moves from pindi to Q endangering himself making the vote 5 - 5 - 4 That is why we need to know your alignment Commodore to know if this was a wolf who was happily bussing another wolf suddenly seeing a chance to save both by lynching Q
I hate this reasoning. I think its bad because its not about whether Comm is scummy or not its just about trying to discover some information that isn't even about comm? THIS is basically a policy lynch. Comm was on the block and voted for thrawn so now we have to be sure about him to know more about pin.

@novice it may or may not be relevant. I don't really trust Day 1 thrawn's judgement, but I thought it and I said it. I didn't see Rowain had also thought it. Which in itself is also interesting.

Yo, Weeb Fox.
Omar in the weeds right now. Tin foil hat time. Omar up to hour 4 and post 323 on the re-read. Taking way longer than expected and real life bought to intrude again.
Omar got five pages of Bic’d out single-spaced notes already. Feeling more like that white dude in the movie with the pretty brain who saw spooks and specters in the algebra than the version who invented the useful equation.
But Omar will coalesce and provide thoughts when done.

Any hot takes for the less analytically inclined, Omar?

I'm annoyed that I had to drop character because I was too mean or something. Being House is fun. Idiots.
Responding to Lewwyn's question. I had been on Commodore for a long while. I was convinced he was scum. I was trying to convince you that he was scum. You were trying to convince me Thrawn was scum, as I thought Thrawn was just playing poorly. You basically sold me, but then Commodore came in at a time when it was between him and Pindicator, as you had not yet convinced many people on Thrawn, and voted for Thrawn. This makes no sense to me because he catches no heat for a self-preservation vote on Pindicator... unless Pindicator is scum and he doesn't want to see him go down. So this super-extra-califragilistically convinces me that Commodore is scum and also makes me think Pindicator is scum. At that point, its your scumdar vs mine and while I trust yours, I trust mine more.
For the record, I'd do the same again because even though Thrawn was scum(ish) I still think Commodore and Pindicator are scum. Until I see one of them flip hero, at which point I will be sufficiently cowed. So if you'd like to see my ego take a hit, let's vote for Commodore and if he flips blue you can at least have that self-satisfaction. (He won't, because scum.)
Re: small footprint - I'm not really a hot potato vote guy. And I gave my collected thoughts yesterday here.
My overall read at this point with some, but not much, additional info:
Scum: Commodore
Probably scum: Pindicator
More scummy than towny but still plenty of doubt: Jabbz, GES, Adrien, Kaiser
True neutral read: WK, sunrise089
More towny than scummy but still plenty of doubt: Rowain, Bob, Alhambram, Cyneheard
Probably town: novice, Lewwyn
Would be very surprised if not town: Meiz
I don't think those lists provide much value but I don't want anyone to think I'm hiding my thoughts.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

And for new readers - why is Commodore scum?
Why couldn’t town Commodore vote for Thrawn if he thought Thrawn was the likeliest scum? Thrawn wasn’t unlynchable.
I have to run.

Omar hasn’t really read the last 50 or so posts, but just read 328 from Weeb Fox and he says if he was trying to save Bee-Boy by being on Q, he would have to be trying to save Flip too, and that would be stupid.
Logic says then if Fox a villain, Pind and Comm both would be. That seems way too convenient for Omar, though, but is a testable hypothesis.
Of the people who Omar ignored first time through, Adrien posts the very first post but says nothing much other than throw shade at me.
Trying to figure out why Patsy got got. “She” suspected Omar most, which would cast shade my way, but then if I was seen as an easy D2 village lynch, why get rid of one of the potential voters? Odd. Patsy was ultimately a Pind voter, though, and maybe the goal was to thin that herd?
Sunrise still the person Omar most convinced is town.

novice + gaspar townish
Commodore, pindi good lynches for day 1.
What makes them good lynches old timer? As an old man my eyes aren't what they used to be, so if you could paraphrase your argument that would be most appreciated.
