WW48: Melllvar's Grand Competition!

If Lewwyn is scum why did he not push Adrien? for most of the time Adrien was the competitor for Commodore even leading the lynch 6 hours before deadline.
With the way Adrien had played the game already on D1 (trusting Lewwyn's read), I would expect scum-Lewwyn to rely in his abilities to get AdrienIer on his side. Therefore it would make more sense to attack a player who is not budging from his read (WK) than the one who's on your side (AdrienIer)

Yes

About Lewwyn's play to paint WK night kill as indication towards active players ("why are they not dead"). To me there is nothing strange with killing a player who pushed hard for Commodore as scum + was the runing lynch candidate next to him. We are on D3 and I think it's too early to start painting bad light on players due to the NK's. Instead I suspect he is making longplay moves to explain the lack of nightkill against himself & now I think potentially against Gaspar as well. Or novice, but I have stong town lean on him.

Honestly I'm pretty neutral on Comm I'm not sure yet I could see him going either way.
I think Pin could go either way too. I see the reasoning and the interpretation but I don't agree with that interpretation. OTOH I think Pin's last posts are a bit of a give up and think THAT's scummy. But then he didn't move his vote to Comm. If I were him I would have moved to comm and then "gone to a meetin" for the last hour.

If you think I'm trying to save pin... you would have to think I'm trying to save Pin and Comm. And that would be stupid. Are you calling me stupid?

Look all I can tell you is my read is that thrawn is scum. I believe it.

Back to Lewwyn, I find the logic from D1 here suspicious. I don't think there was any clear indications why both Com & Pind couldn't be wolves that got pushed as lynch candidates due to lack of contributions. But Lewwyn takes a strong idea that we can't have two wolves here and therefore the lack of moves between them is a townsign.

Waldorf: That quote takes me back a long ways.

Statler: Well it didn't go back far enough, I could still see it!

Both: Do-ho-ho-ho-hoh!

@Rowain, you haven’t voted, right? I know Lewwyn doesn’t look good from Day 2 and now there’s a Cyneheard train but based on earlier statements you should be pretty firm for Pindicator, no? I was on mobile a lot today so apologies if I missed you touching on this.

@Cyneheard re: 1087 - why did you claim? Did I miss where someone asked you to? Or was it just due to general pressure?

@Pindicator re: 1096 - I should clarify that my ability is passive - I was assigned my neighbor by Brick. I think what you had was “Neighborizer.” Mine is like a half-strength Mason - you know each other’s role with certainty and can mutually confirm but have no info on alignment other than reads, meta, and the base-level per-player odds.

@Cyneheard re: 1105 - I don’t think Rowain inherited the traitor’s powers and then fake-claimed vig after poisoning Adrien a day earlier. I think it’s more likely no one has inherited any powers this game smile I think more likely than either of those is wolf Rowain gave himself great cover for a night kill. Most likely though of course is that he’s a town vig.

1087: General pressure.

1105: The train of thought of "what if I'm wrong" just kept leaving the station. And I think the point that I was (poorly) trying to make was that the whole thing just didn't make sense for him to be anything but the town vig.

Pind:

I honestly don't know why I let you off the hook Day 2. I didn't process who else I was voting with when I jumped onto WK, and that was a mistake.

Cyneheard, I think there were questions pointed to you on what went through your head at the end of D2. What made you suspect WK, and trust Lewwyn while dropping your initial read of Commodore is scummy? I have to say the comment of not thinking who was voting WK sounds strange to me, as it was Commodore (who you suspected initially) and AdrienIer (who you also suspected earlier).

I don't know. I rushed during my lunch break and messed up.

WK had felt like a stream of RP that had gone nowhere, and I let that be enough.
