[signup thread, closed] WW49: Wizards and Werewolves

So Brick is a little fried after the last mega-game, but I also agree that the little 9-person games can be a little light. I'm looking at giving him a break with a nice mid-sized 12 person WW game. The game will have a theme, but it will be a semi-open setup, role madness with very weak roles, with a bonus night voting phase (see below).

The theme is that you're all a party of D&D players, one of each class (5th edition, eh). During the day you're going to vote to kick out the munchkins (scum faction). At the end of the day, a randomly-rolled loot item will also drop; the item is a 1-time use power that is publicly known. During the night, players will vote for who gets to get the item with green tags. Everyone knows who gets it, so it's a mayor-race-esque phase. Vote ties will be determined by rolling a d20. Otherwise, bog standard RB WW rules.

I'm sure playing would be easier than GMing  mischief

What

I will sign up only on the overly specific condition that you are at 11 players and cannot otherwise find a 12th.

Any roll modifiers?  Does any side get to take 10?  Is a 1 a critical failure, critical success, or neither?  And what else is rolled for?

Now I'm wondering whether to join, though I'm much more familiar with 1e/2e/3e than 5e.  Yes, I know I don't actually need to know.

(not a signup ... yet ... also I've only ever played in person)

I think I'm going to roll a d20 for each tied victim, loser gets the gack (or winner gets the loot, at night).

My CV shows I'm a lot more schooled in the earlier editions too, but I figure I can give the kids these days what they love.  mischief

Join up man, it's a blast.
