Hey I also wanted to inform you about a tiny UI bug that only affects you. When you hover over a foreign trade route in your city screen it will still show the domestic bonus and a wrong number in the hover itself. Don't worry all the numbers in the back and the trade route section are still correct. It's only a UI bug which I fixed in future versions.

So far, two have settled city #3 - Lewynn and Ruff.   I doubt ruff settled towards me, but you never know.

Gavagai picked up pottery.  Guessing he whips a granary in his cap next turn.  



Dunno which of these is cap vs city #2.  in either case, his cap popped borders a 2nd time a little while ago,  so I think my half way mark is about right.  

I kind of think its to the west, because of the roads.  But I don't really know.

Settler finished and started moving, I revolted into slavery.

next turn, whip a worker in DriveMyCar, while HitchARide one turns a warrior with overflow.  I need a few warriors, so I'm good with that.   HitchARide grows to size 4 in3 turns, then works on settler #3

Just wanted to be sure because you said it only affected me, but I'm not the only protective civ in the game. I am guessing you meant that it doesn't generally affect everyone.

I don't know what is going on in Gavagai's head. Can you tell me if he is planning on dumping war chariots on me in 20 turns?

Yeah you are right, it's for all protective leaders. I just was lazy and copied it from El Grillo in PB54, who is the only one protective leader there.

My tracking tool is not tracking Gavagai's head.

Turn 41

Amicalola joins the 3 city group. I join next turn.

I'm a little confused about Gavagai. He's roading the horse, which makes me think he can see the horse, which means he has Animal Husbandry. I presume his next city goes up there - he has a riverside wheat on his borders, which is better than riverside rice, so he has to have a reason for going up there. If it was the stone, I'd guess he'd be roading differently. So, it's gotta be the horse and his city goes next to the horse.

But that means he has BW & AH & pottery, which is a lot more beakers than I do. And I am pretty sure I'm making more base beakers than he is. Unless, I suppose, he started off with a coastal start, I guess.


Demos are meh, but should be getting better.

Founded Drive, which is a rock song by The Cars, REM and 11 (ELEVEN!!) other acts. The only two I know are the Cars and REM - neither of those songs are particularly road trip songs, but how do you pass up a city name of Drive with a theme like this? Of the two, I think REM is the better song, even with the Cars being a local band. That said, the video for the Cars song has a supermodel in it, so it has a lot going for it.



I'm working the PH until I need it for the cap. I'm not sure that's the right thing to do - might be better off working the wheat, so I might change that later.

Research is at 90% - I generally prefer to run binary researach at this point, but that will delay polytheism by a turn. I'm not sure i'm getting it, but I don't want to delay it any longer.

After that is fishing->pottery (need to start getting some cottages)

The chop from the forest where Drive was gave the cap 8 hammers. I have a ton of forests so I'm investing in another worker this turn, 2 turns for a warrior to grow, then worker/settler. need to get some chops in.

Whipped a worker in DriveMyCar last turn, he's going to chop a forest for a workboat.
