For me that is not you.
Well, that's something that can't be helped then as I explained why I believe that was a reasonable vote (especially at that point in the game).

Ok, so you think I could be scum because I made a vote you disagree with and because you believe I "faked" not remembering what happened in WW46? Even though remembering it and telling novice off because of it would be much easier AND (as scum) would let me attack him for it on top. That's were you logic breaks down imo Rowain. It simply makes no sense faking that I forgot about it because remembering would have been better in that situation. That means it is much more likely I simply did forget about it. Which does not say anything about my alignment, but maybe something about my age...

I look forward to getting to know you both better as you practice your sleuthing/deception.
Gaz, while I am willing to let some suspicious behavior slide from new players today, giving them a free pass for the day is a bit much. I'm probably not going to vote for a new player today but I will if the situation calls for it. Care to elaborate on why voting new players is a complete non-option for you?
novice, you are right that Lewwyn coming forward with his ability is a rather null tell all things considered, which upon rereading seem to be what most of his posts revolve around. Lewwyn, care to add anything more now that some discussions are happening?
There are still too many people who have been too quiet for my liking (thrawn, pindicator, AdrienIer, superdeath, DS). My vote is currently on thrawn but right now I could easily switch to anyone else listed, especially those who've played before and should know better. For example:

Lewwyn's offer is more interesting in that regard. I'll pass on that, because for my first WW game with TIME on my hand in years I don't want additionnal hurdles on my way. I assume (perhaps I missed an admission of this, but it seems likely given the offer he made) that Lewwyn is actually required to post in poetry ?
Everyone has posted so far, and because there have already been 2 things to discuss many people have actually participated. Not all though, and the one whose post to content ratio is the worst is probably thrawn so far. Any opinion on anything that has been talked about ? Or about anything else ? Do you think Dark Savant's immediate change of vote is suspicious or unimportant for example ?
Bold by me.
Adrien, you have more time on your hands? Great! Any thoughts on players aside from thrawn? Or are you content to ask general questions to everyone with your extra time while providing nothing yourself?
Special mention to lowest contributors:
pindicator: least amount of effort into this thread out of everyone, RP or not.
superdeath: tied with DS for least amount of worthwhile content, which is practically nothing.
Also Rowain, can you please refer to novice as Fighter rather than Warrior? I was confused for a bit until I realized that you weren't talking to me.

Yeah as I mentioned in the signup thread I'll have enough time to play seriously until next sunday. After that my time will be limited again, but it should be ok as we'll be approaching the end of the game.
I did mention Dark Savant, so I did post thoughts on players aside from thrawn. In the very post you quote I wonder if Lewwyn is actually forbidden to write in prose. While I don't consider these things to be scum or town tells, I'm keeping them in mind (my D1 is always like that BTW). So I believe you're being a little harsh here, I was literally waiting for more people to post before posting.
For the others, novice is his usual self IMO (but we'll see, it's a little early to be giving actual town points for tone), so is Gazglum. Rowain and Lewwyn are hiding a little behind RP, and I'm starting to wonder whether Lewwyn is using his speech limitation as an excuse (once again, too early to tell).
Dark Savant disappears after raising some questions with his quick votes, which is bad. I agree with you that SD and Pindi need to participate.

Do you mean his ability or the way he offered it ? Commodore said he would craft powers before rolling alignement, so the ability literally cannot give us info on which side he's on.
What he did was an easy way to get town cred but it's still good that he did it, and pro-town too.
As I awaken from sleep
And start to catch up
I find clarity must keep
And restrictions to drop.
I don’t have a post restriction and I never claimed it true.
My voice is my own to do with what I do.
I decided to rhyme from the moment I chose bard.
I thought it would be fun and really not too hard.
If anyone has issue with the tone or parse
I can lay my burden down and make poetics sparse.
My only claim was my ability, the one that gives and takes,
I am town, but yes I know, my actions are null stakes.

Your style is fine so far then Lewwyn, but perhaps a time will come when you'll want to temporarily take a break from rhymes to make cases on people and make sure you're heard.

I am not hiding behind these rhymes
If need be I will drop in time
But so far as we’ve come
My opinions have been heard
The reverberate like a drum
Even as I sing like a bird.

(October 25th, 2020, 04:41)Rowain Wrote: @the rogue and the warrior: It is a very easy and cowardly vote on the sorcerer. With an easy argument.
For me this a rather un-Serdoa vote.
I'm kinda getting annoyed by novice asking the same questions that I have in mind but it makes sense to ask them of course:
1) Why is it un-Serdoa? I would actually say that it fits my way of looking at the game quite well. Basically I don't feel thrawn flailing around is honest. One post about the subject, maybe a second ok. But posting up a flurry about what character to play makes it seem as if that was somehow really important. And that either means that he wants desperately to fit in or he wants to post about something to be or appear active. Both things are common among wolves because you the first few times, you always feel like everyone is watching you. You basically mirror your own knowledge onto the others.
2) Why is that vote in your opinion easy and cowardly? I honestly just don't understand how you even mean that, given the amount of time the game was underway when I made that vote.
I’m dropping the chain to weigh in,
This battle looks difficult to pin
Rowain is saying to vote thrawn is weak,
A cowardly easy vote so to speak.
But why is this so, even novice appears to agree?
Though he acknowledges the vote could be correct.
Thrawn could be scum or town either he could be.
But more important Rowain is here to protect.
Rowain if you think the vote cowardly and easy,
Do you think thrawn innocent and patsy?
I must admit I find your reasoning
To need a bit more seasoning.

Me thinks you are bad because of your vote and the reason given. Your exchange with novice happened later and while not a point in your favour it is not a scumtell. A strange is a part of a scumtell but not enough for a vote alone.

There is only one real fighter and thats me the others are either hiding behind their shield or in their tin-box. You are one of the finger-wagglers so no warrior at all
@the Bard
How should I know if thrawn is naughty or nice. Still I find the vote of the Rogue cowardish and easy. Nothing more and nothing less to it.
