My apologies then good warlock, I took your tone as accusatory and not just merely pushing. Consider my own vote on yourself as a push then, as yourself has not been very participating so far.

I usually take time to rethink, and put things in context, instead of reacting too much to one specific thing. So first I point out that something bothers me (forcing myself to do things like that because if I never do that then I'm barely ever going to post), then reread you, then if I can connect some dots I go the extra mile.

I'd say I wrote a little bit more than you having a certain "style". For example looking at this posts of yours. I take issue not with your style, but the contradicting contents of your posts: You now say that you have to force yourself to write something at all, implying that it is really hard for you to do. But before you posted that you look forward to being able to post more as you have more time - that implies to me you wanted to post more in the past but couldn't. So, what is it? Did you just not have the time before or do you have to force yourself?

It simply leads me to believe that you try to write what "sounds" best or what you believe will convince people the most. Here to me it reads as if you implicitly ask for compassion. "Hey guys, it is really hard for me to write those posts about stuff I found bothersome, so be upset with the guy that calls me out on them.". That together with trying to condense everything I wrote into "you don't like my style" doesn't sit right with me.
Perhaps I wouldn't say it's hard for me to do so, just not a natural thing I'd do. But I know that in a WW game you need to provide some kind of reads, and can't keep silent for too long, not reacting quickly to things that are said etc... So I accept the idea that I have to force my nature on that part, and it means that some of my posts are sometimes "unnatural" or forced in the early game.

So I did say that I would post more this game because I have more time. Not because it sounds better, but because it's better for town ! And yes, I will do force myself to do stuff if it's better for town. And before you try to get a gotcha moment by pointing at my "I want to play !" post, I didn't think looking up the various uses of the term "grognard" in WW would necessarily help town as much as starting a discussion early on D1 would, so I chose the one that prompted more interaction.

Who is this WarriorKnight you speak of? I am Megumin!

All Crimson Demons show off how powerful they are when introducing themselves, that is the Crimson Demon way! And while my Explosion spell is indeed powerful, it comes at a great price. Not only do I not know any other spells aside from Explosion, but I can only use it once a day. And after I do cast it, it drains me off all my mana and leaves me unable to move, forcing someone to either carry me home or give me some mana so I can move myself. I don't care about any of that though, I love the Explosion spell more than anything! When I started, I chose to walk the path of the Archwizard just so that I could cast that one, glorious spell!

Is this spell something your learned in the pleasure house with the barbarian? smile

Rowain it seems thrawn has returned today
but his content is insubstantial.
Does this change your mind on Serdoa
or is the evidence still too circumstantial?

You may think thrawn easy, but this post does not help
I'm quite getting ready myself to make the poor boy yelp.

Interesting that you say this now,
when you are under fire.
The intentionality of your words
was mean then to inspire?

What kind of inspiration did you seek?
It seems that only suspicion you would bring
Did you mean to make yourself a target?
And see who would look for your neck to wring?

Because I do not understand your thought
if you believed this phrase activity begot?

Now that ive got my fill of blood broth, to add to the discussion, im of the opinion that the creator of this world may have made the Grognard have a jester type win condition. Due to them being according to the definition " stuck in the old ways " ect. So perhaps their win condition could be simply be that they are fed up with how the game has progressed and maybe they WANT to just have a reason to leave? Just a thought from these tired old bones.

I'm only under fire by one person though...

I didn't necessarily want to make myself a target, but not everyone reacts equally to a discussion on a third party. The grognard himself both knows too much about the role, and might not want to talk about it for too long. The wolves might be interested in the notion of a survivor or a SK. Only the town starts with a blank mind on that subject.

So while I don't conclude much from the responses to the initial prompt right now, they could be useful later on.

My conclusion is that he caught flak for a bad vote on thrawn (he voted for thrawn for an entirely different reason than SD or I), then tried to redirect and pretend to be scumhunting by going after the first person he could find. I agree with the first two parts of his post 129 but they're not really towny. The only analysis he made is the dishonest one against me.

So Serdoa

And with "caught flak" you mean Rowain expecting me to know things I can't know and to play in a way that is not even making sense if you do? Ohhhh-k, feeling good with my vote here smile

I also find it amusing that you accuse me of pretending to scumhunt by going after the first person I could find. That still means you are the person that was scummiest. I'm glad we agree on that at least.

What I don't understand though: If you agree that your play could be interpreted as scummy, why attack me for pointing that out? Why don't you simply explain it? I've discussed with Rowain quite a bit back and forth, I never felt a reason to counter-vote him. Why do you?

I have to side with AdrienIer here. "Dishonest" is exactly how your analysis comes across. I don't know if you're just scum or if you think you've found scum and are hammering with everything you can find, but every single sentence AdrienIer is posting, you're twisting into the scummiest light you can muster. If you're town you would do better service to your case by presenting it in a more level headed way.

It's a funny observation by thrawn, though, it has to be said.

Yeah that seems to fit quite well with the etymology, although Jester is a bit of a bastard role.

So yeah. I skipped a bit back and forth in the thread now, will read in an orderly fashion later. Finger of suspicion on Serdoa, but the Ranger is still missing, and my vote might as well stay there.

P.S: I see pindicator showed up with some hot takes, but his post was hard to skim...
