[Game Thread] WW49: Wizards and Werewolves

I think you're being a bit harsh on Gazglum there, if someone seems to have the same opinion as you on a given topic you can easily understand how he, as town, could get to those opinions. So it's a very minor town tell, and on D1 that's often enough to get in the "I'd rather not vote for him" category.

ANd to follow that thought up Rowain, do you think Pindicator IS suspicious for his lurking?

Thoughts on everyone for the day. The big things to talk about about are Serdoa, AdrienIer and Rowain:

  • Adrien I certainly thought could scum be during my last post, where he asked more questions rather than answered and didn't contribute. But I like his game a lot more since responding to my remarks, coming under fire from Serdoa and everything since then. I am leaning town on him.

  • Serdoa is more of a question mark to me. The biggest flag is his tunnelling of Adrien, and while the initial reasoning is sound some of the later remarks are uncalled for. But he does make some good points, post 92 in particular has some good early day leans. I'm not going to vote for him today.

  • Rowain is the only other person I would consider voting for today. The view that voting thrawn is easy bait for a wolf is fine, but I really don't like his defense from then on afterwards particularly once his deathmatch with Lewwyn gets started. I am much more inclined to agree with Lewwyn and novice here.

As for everyone else:
  • Gazglum is my highest town lean, the only stain on Gaz is his day 1 defense for newcomers, but has explained that well.

  • Below that is Tarkeel, novice and Lewwyn. I'd like to hear more from all 3 regarding their thoughts on current players, but all things considered I don't have any scum tells on them right now. Plus that advice could also easily apply to me.  lol

  • Both pindicator and superdeath have not contributed nearly as much as I would like, but have done more then the two below to avoid my vote today.

  • thrawn and Dark Savant are AWOL. I have a major problem with thrawn poking his head in, offering barely anything and then leaving again. Dark Savant at least is a first timer in this game and has been completely absent since the early hours of the morning, which could potentially be RL issues or not realizing the commitment this game requires. thrawn will probably keep my vote for the day.

Too many people not playing leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth. I really hope everyone will step it up tomorrow, or the munchkins are going to kill us all.

Comment on this real quick. Looking at the post counts, yeah I get what your saying. I suppose my preferred posting style is just to put everything in a single post, while others like to put a single thought in each post which then adds up. Plus I can't post at work.

Milady Megumin, are you still voting Thrawn? You are also a town lean for me, so perhaps we should consolidate. I had just written out this post:
I would like to hear from the silent moral majority, but it really is bedtime.

No guarantees but I think this is the tally:

Lynch votes
3 votes: Rowain (Gazglum, Lewwyn, pindicator)
2 votes: Dark Savant (novice, adrien)
2 votes: Thrawn (WarriorKnight, superdeath)
2 votes: AdrienIer (Serdoa, Dark Savant)
1 votes: Superdeath (Tarkeel)
1 votes: Novice (Rowain)

Since you are playing and interacting, and since I've been wrong about you often enough before Rowain, it does seem a bit unfair to vote you over Ser Thrawn, who seems lost beyond the aid of the Gods.

If Thrawn turned up evil, it would raise a lot of red flags on Rowain because his play could certainly be said to have been a way to deflect Serdoa's attack on Thrawn. So I think there is more information to be gained there than, say, from lynching Savant.

Anyway, I have to go to bed. My fellow adventurers! Try to consolidate onto two top candidates! If the Day 1 votes are split across many players, it makes it extremely easy for the Munchkins to tilt the balance in their favour.

A game of communication where we try to help each other into achieving a common goal.

Why didn't you find my post then? Or was it just convenient for you to ignore it?

Um.. What? I haven’t been posing those questions to you, I’m merely analyzing the discussion between you and Lewwyn. And saying that if anyone could have shortened it, it would be you, by answering his questions. Or by referring back to the answers you had already made.

Oh you deflecting sneaky piece  of scum. I never said you asked me those questions. You accused me of not answering them. When I show you that I answered it it is "You could have pointed to the answer".  But I did reiterate it in post

Can he ever have a reason good enough to vote for this sorcerous whiz?
I understand a higher standard for a wily vet,
but I think you gatekeep Serdoa in a net.

I disd not deflect I did not prohibit voting for thrawn.
But the reason "you try too hard"  is a weak one and the target chosen is also a weak one.
Serdoa can be a lot better and see his action vs Adrien looks more in line with a town Serdoa.

If thrawn doesn't start hunting no problem with voting him off. If he posts one more time how lost he is I'll vote thrawn myself.

What excuse for your sloppy attack will you bring up now? novice

BTW it was awfull silent the past hours. could on of the mods ask if everyone can reach he site? I got a weird error ~ 1 weak ago

I was saying that you could have made the discussion with Lewwyn more productive by answering his questions immediately, instead of having him tease the answers out of you over four poems. And once he's done that, you turn around and attack him for wasting people's time.

The answer you're quoting is in your second reply to Lewwyn, not your first.

In general, in all games I play with you Rowain, I find your reticent style annoying at times. That is, when you refuse to just come out and say what your thinking, or when people have to tease answers out of you. But I think that's part of your style, and my point here is not to paint you as scum for having that style. I'm just saying it's unfair of you to blame Lewwyn when that style results in conversations dragging out.
I have to run.

Wait you're only going to sleep 5h ? Cause that's the deadline

No, I'm going to sleep and I'll miss the deadline, so I have to decide my final vote now.

Yeah that's kind of problematic because thrawn or DS might come back anytime and we might want to change votes... All in all I think thrawn is the better vote currently because he came back to this thread to say nothing, while DS just disappeared.
