To start it off I have to say
that it was a kind of shitty day.
thrawn and DS were both absent
and not much was left to give a scent.

Thrawn never voted to save himself
even though he was a villager
how goddamn frustrating it is
when he KNEW he wasn't a pillager.

My thoughts tonight
I don't believe they're all right
Let's pit them in order
to create a border.

Gazglum
Dark Savant
Novice
Pindicator
Warrior Knight
Serdoa
Tarkeel
Superdeath
AdrienIer
Rowain

I think at first dark savant was suspicious,
but having not appeared again, I find it less odious
in fact I may meta clear
for I think scum would not disappear.

Gazglum I mostly trust
his warm demeanor
will not rust.
I dont get the scum vibe
everything seems to jive.

Novice defended me
and saw through
rowains treachery
maybe I feel indebted
but I think he saw my argument vetted

Pindicator I'm feeling fine
he's agreeing with me most of the time.

Warrior Knight is more in the middle
his contributions have been second fiddle.

Serdoa is also there
a place where I don't like to be
his posts have seemed mostly fair
but I'm not sure of my read.
I'm having flashes back to ww 46
I never suspected him in that game
and here he feels much the same.

Tarkeel I haven't fully decided
whether his superdeath crusade is good
he says he has an innate feeling
but its not clear what's behind the hood
I say this in part because superdeath
has seemed much like himself
but the last that he was himself
I wanted to lynch him then too.

So superdeath is an enigma
and one that we might just need to kill
I think his style and activity
make suspicions hard to fill.
It seems he will not have an item
which may be for the best
either he or tarkeel might
be good to lynch after rest.

Adrien I do not know
I've liked most of his reads
and yet I'm bothered by
the gambit in the weeds.
I do not understand it
and I do not think it fits
but I'm also not sure its enought
to call adrien's life quits.

Rowain will say I'm scum for coming back at him
Says I'm wasting time and my arguments are thin
but what am I to do when I think I've got him caught?
his manner and his attack on me makes me think he was distraught.
I only pushed a little bit to poke under the skin
and yet he turn on me and went fully in.
Only when he took my words and twisted my intent
did I really think my time well spent!

I'm not sure what I can do to prove my suspicions
but I find a great many people are not willing to weigh in
Tarkeel avoids the issue, Adrien can't tell,
Superdeath isn't clear, and novice you as well?
You seem to be holding back, not willing to invest fully
you've argued with him, but never voted with yours truly.

Ok, finishing up looking at the players after D1. If I feel it necessary for one of the players I looked at already, I'll also include an update. Else you can find my thoughts on the the other players here

Rowain

The first 9 posts all occurred in the first 4 hours of the game and are roleplay mostly. The last one of these skates the line by calling out those that had not participated yet, before I assume Rowain headed to bed. When he woke up in the morning, he voted me. In retrospect the timeline looks off. To better illustrate:

19:44 - I vote thrawn (#38)
22:05 - next post by Rowain after I made mine, calling out those that have not joined (#44)
08:13 - votes me (and calls Gaz out for handing out freebies = declaring people he won't lynch)

There was not really much happening after my vote and his next post (5 short posts). I don't understand why he isn't mentioning it in #44. That indicates that he only made up his mind later on.

The next 18 posts are only about his vote, answering others questioning it. #212 is the first one which is not about the vote, with making a statement on Gaz (he does not think Gaz is scum) and that he won't vote pindicator on D1. Then several more posts on the whole vote-affair. #239 is interesting insofar as Rowain is telling Gaz that he should not hand a town-tell to pindi just because pindi made one post agreeing with Gaz. Given that in #212 he stated he won't vote pindicator I have issues with that. Stating that you won't vote someone is not different to stating that you have a town-lean on someone. If you had not, you would not categorically dismiss the possibility to vote for them. But Rowain disagrees on this point, in #258 when asked the question he states that he thinks pindi suspicious - but also reiterates that he won't vote for him. I couldn't find any reasoning for why that is the case - though that is not a scum-tell imo, just bad play imo.

In #259 he replies to pindi. Pindi did point out that Rowain states he did not defend thrawn which pindi agrees he didn't directly but instead he attacked those voting thrawn, trying to have it both ways, as scum does. Rowain deflects that, attacking pindi for his vote on WK (who in turn had voted thrawn at that point), asking rhetorically "Who is voting for thrawn-voters and defending thrawn?". Only that vote was an obvious joke-vote. I will add that this looks like Rowain biting at everyone that comes close to him though, being set in the "everyone who questions me is evil"-mindset. I have that too from time to time.

And that was D1. I'm... unimpressed Rowain. My impression while it played out was actually that you really got dragged in a endless discussion (with you having part in not ending it). I had you down for your village self, being upset and coming across angry and lashing out at everyone - we both seem to have the style for that. But looking through all these posts, there is no hunting in between those at all. Not even novice or Lewwyn. You accuse them, yes, but you do little to actually make a case, just stating that they are scum because of their continued questioning of you. Now, I know that it seems futile to make a case on D1 on one of these players and actually push for them without a smoking gun and I also know that you are seldom making elaborate cases. Still, I would expect more input, more requests towards others to look at them. You later even state that you thought both thrawn and DS were bad lynches, which should be all the more reason to try to get people to move to others.

I had you leaning towards town while the day played out but I honestly can't keep that re-reading it. But your performance D1 is also not completely untypical you either. It is just the part of your play that I hate because I know you can do better and actually hunt, so I have to question if you didn't by chance or by choice.

novice

Some jokes and then in #41 states that DS play is a "tiny, tiny munchkin tell". After that many posts about meta and Lewwyns power. Some questioning towards Adrien about why he wants us to discuss meta without doing it himself. Also talks with SD but I hesitate to call it questioning. More trying to get him to actually talk a little bit more. But he then does vote SD, so apparently it was more than that. SD explains, and 5 minutes later everything is done and novices vote is on DS.  Then in #98 calls Lewwyn coming forward with his power a pro-town move that is obvious so one can't give town-points to Lewwyn for it.

Next interesting bit is #154 and #167. I have given my thoughts here. But basically he wrote he disagrees with most accusations but will talk about it when the time is more opportune in #154 and then does so (partly) in #167. Which I found very weak as it lacked content imo. novice replied "it's still not an opportune time".

Question: Did we ever reach that opportune time novice? I can't seem to find when you laid it all out, I believe you didn't.

After that Rowain - then explaining to me how I sounded dishonest (point taken, tough I think I've often enough played exactly like that, that him being suspicious of me for it is kinda ignoring what he knows about me) - then back to Rowain. After that a mention that he does not think one of those playing deserves to be bum-rushed an hour before deadline over one of the absentees.

The last thing of note I believe is that novice actively questions Tarkeel for his case on SD. But apparently not to follow but to disagree. I wouldn't mind that in general, but that was 15-20 minutes before deadline. It seems a little late for that and I question what as the actual reasoning to do it. Make sure SD doesn't get lynched? Together with the nightly push to give SD the scroll this is rather odd imo.

I think the play is lacking, mostly in scum-hunting. It is not BAD play, it is simply ... being there, without trying to have a loud impact. More quietly stirring the votes in the right direction. Just prodding here, prodding there. But maybe that's me being more confrontational and not "getting" it. Anyhow, I don't trust you novice, I would like to see more actual thoughts posted on players and not just announcements of things to come.

Lewwyn

Firstly: Fuck is that hard to re-read with all those rhymes.
After 3 joke posts Lewwyn offers his power already in #16 directly to novice. The next posts are about different players and questioning what they did. Then it goes back to discussion about his power and whom to give it too. And lastly the first vote, against DS. That is a vote I still don't understand. DS had explained why he switched and I think that I had the same argument with you guys in WW46 about me switching a vote early. And while I was a wolf there, that vote switching had nothing to do with that. I find it is an acceptable explanation to say "I did not want to put too much pressure on someone, my first vote was meant as a light joke to get into the game". I actually find it off (from several people) that not DS absence but that vote-switch is the issue. Am I dumb and don't understand something?

Anyhow, after that some meta-discussion. What is interesting here is that he started to discuss with novice about Adrien asking about meta-speculation but not providing his own, but I can't find that these thoughts are ever been followed up by either of them.

Back to more meta and his role. Then an explanation for his DS vote, being: He is not voting him for his vote-switch but for disappearing after being questioned about it. That makes no sense though, the vote came 3.5 hours after DS explained why he switched (5.5 hours total game time), at that point Lewwyn could not know that DS had disappeared so the vote could not be for that.

After that comes the start of the Rowain-fight. Which is boring to read and I try to break them up, feeling that they both go at each other for being who they are. Lewwyn does comment on Adrien as I requested, though in the light of what transpired with Rowain over "thrawn is an easy vote" it is kinda funny to read Lewwyn asking rhetorically if Adrien is maybe an easy lynchbait.

Lewwyn does ask questions here and there towards others. He tries to move the vote from thrawn away to DS. Without knowing if we had two villagers on the block or not that doesn't mean much. But if DS is a wolf I would go back and look how the tally looked, how possible it seemed at that time that DS get traction and lynched etc. If it looks like an actual possibility, that would be a point for Lewwyn being town.

And all together, I actually don't lean either direction. Lewwyn did not play in a way that I find particularly great, but also not particularly bad. Nothing that makes me go: He has to be a wolf. So, lets see how he 'performs' Day 2.

The funny part is that it only took a few games for me to feel I have a good read on thrawn, but I still don't have a good read on what your normal is. Maybe because you had me convinced you were town in 46

Tally as of 12:00 CDT 10/27/2020:

Loot votes
6.1 votes: Serdoa (Serdoa, Tarkeel, WarriorKnight, Gazglum, Rowain, pindicator)
4.1 votes: Superdeath (novice, AdrienIer, Lewwyn, superdeath)

After some initial arguments, eventually it was agreed that the rogue should have the loot. It was only after handing out the spoils that you all glanced over to where Tarkeel had been sitting. His character sheet was slashed, his seat empty but for a faint dusting of Cheeto.
Tarkeel has been kicked out. He was a Player.
