Just the info that I am only allowed to post votes for the first 12 hours of the game. That's why I said whoever did it should come forward and explain it - maybe it has another effect that I am not informed about which makes sense to use it? Because else I really don't see the benefit of using it at all. Hmmm I guess a fair cop! I didn't think of this as meta feed because it is a specific action taken that directly relates to a possible read. I have some work to do for next week but I still haven't started it, the uncertainty is exhausting and it will change my work schedule drastically. Ah uncertainty I can relate Mine own has been going long of late. Sympathies, you have mine and I wish the best for thine.

I'm gonna jump back in quick and say you're all hypocrits champing at the bit for an obv-scum to reveal himself. You expect us to read every single line of your spam and don't keep up or dont' interpret something the way that you think it should then your whole post gets thrown out for that one line you're CLEARLY scum for it. Or don't read it and your scum for it. This was why thrawn was lynched, because you all want an easy out. Guess what, there isn't one.
Fake Edit: Dammit Serdoa, he DOES explain that. RIGHT WHERE I QUOTED EARLIER. And hey, look at that: Here we have Novice saying this is where he did ask for clarification. But he doesn't ask any further and there isn't any hammering away on superdeath, he just drops it from here. But he decides that hitting the person who takes that explanation and says, "Yeah, I see what you were saying" is more important than grilling superdeath, if he truly didn't understand it. But I'm the scum for thanking superdeath for explaining himself more. But novice decides it's not a good explanation and yet there's no follow up? That's not duplicitous, no sir. Not suspect at all. No, I'm not getting into this again. Do me a favor and lynch me if you just want another easy vote. Just don't use your damn scroll on me later if you do.

Ok, and while we are all cozy and warm to each other (hit preview, apparently we are not any longer...), I wanted to look at Gaz posts from today. There are only 6, that's easy. While doing so I found he also commented on SD, also being questioning his post about the restriction. And so, I did re-read that post yet another time. Let's look at it... red when I am responsible for the post-restriction, green when someone else made me have it
Quote:I, the great warlock of Yggdrasil do not see any reason other than deception for the glorious game-maker to give anyone the ability to make Serdoa have this talking restriction. Hard to parse I find, but the actual point is: "Only a deceptive character would have such a power" Quote:I believe it is a classic rogue trick to avoid suspicion and protect himself from being kicked out this round. This however seems clearly targeted towards me, as in "This is a power that would fit a rogue, as they are known for deception, and Serdoa could have used it on himself so he can't be questioned". Quote:Who would be granted such an ability? Now we are back to "Who could be the culprit?", implying it could have been someone else who used it on me. Quote:While i believe it is a ruse, my best guesses would be the Monk making someone else only able to "meditate"/vote OR Rowain the barbarian, perhaps with some sort of "rage/anger blinds you/cant talk"? Now we are back at that he believes I used it on myself / fake it. And then right back to "but if not, either Adrien or Rowain have a class fitting for such a power". Quote:If Serdoa has this posting restriction, someone doesnt want him using the scroll that easily to bring back someone from the dead to give us wisdom. That is my best guess And back to questioning if I don't fake it - and back to someone else being the culprit. With an interesting take I might add about me not being able to use the scroll while I am silenced. Which makes no sense simply for the reason that the scroll has to be used at night. So if someone would have used his power on me for that reason, he did skim the thread at best, because that information was given when Comm posted the D1-resolution. Then his clarifying post: Quote:Meant to say "would look like something Rogue-Like" As in, if you were to use a power of deception/control like a posting restriction, the rogue would be the perfect target imo. That is definitely not what he wrote and not even close. Pindicator, that is why we have an issue with you thanking him for his clarification. Because how does that actually clarify his contradictions in the first post? Even if he meant to say that targeting me makes sense, just because of my role, that would only explain why I - specifically I and no one else - was targeted. But even that contradicts his last sentence in which he already gives a potential reason why it was used on me. Quote:While i do doubt that Serdoa would do that to himself ( although it would be the 500 IQ play of the century ) The 2 mentioned players are the only ones where i could feasibly see having a power that fits this problem. Of the two, the Monk seems the easier fit as Meditating is rather quiet and a full no-voting power would be WAY too OP for this game. Unless this is the magical power of the Grognard? And here I... what? I get the first sentence, but it definitely is not what was written in his first post in which it is clear that he does believe that I could have done that play / fake it. Now he states he doubt I would do it. Pindi, I think you are unfair to us. Are you scum? Maybe, maybe not. But we are not hammering at you for having misread a single line or a post. At least I have more reasons to vote you besides that misread and I have stated those. If it was about this alone, I definitely would lynch superdeath (and I am still very open to it, as I am to several others - in fact I don't think there is a single player I would categorically not vote right now). He was the one making a contradicting post. You are just the one that gave the impression that you wanted to contribute and add something without really reading it, which in itself is only a "huh, was he not paying attention?" and not more. I also can see how you are a genuinely nice person that would simply do that as a nudge to show that you appreciate him explaining himself - without any further reasoning, just because you are friendly. So, maybe drop being upset about this if possible, and instead look at what I wrote about your case on Lewwyn? I wasn't very "tactful" I fear, but maybe you still can give your take on my points or simply explain how you see it.
Oh, and pindi, novice asked superdeath here again, after he gave his "clarification"
Tis true my contributions, dear sers, have been meagre.
Struggling with solutions, I focused on rhyme and metre. Seeking high art, I said nay to rhyming couplets. But if my song sees skills declining ... then fuck-its.
So the news is the worst of two worlds : I still have to go to work (get up early, come back late, 2h of public transportation) but we're on lockdown whenever we're not at work. I'll try really hard to not make this glum (lol) situation affect this game, but my spirit is as down as it's been for a while. I'll participate in the morning, I'm definitely not in the mood tonight...

Methinks he barely skims the thread, to cast such doubts. He's not engaged in patterns, he takes the easy way. Does that make him munchkin? Perhaps. It's hard to say. Yet like our Lord Momonga, I say there's much to learn in death. The fallen's cases oft forgot, once dark hands silence them of breath. Our dear departed friend Tarkeel, not the corpse I would expect. I ask who else had the motive, to snap his woodsy neck? Bickering here on Plutonian shore, our band still short four foes. I can see, though still not sure, Momonga one of those. |
