[Game Thread] WW49: Wizards and Werewolves

Tis weary work, I take a break.
Return will I in time.
If any need, question my takes.
My thoughts will then be thine.

A full role-claim, we do not need, till time comes on us later.
But I wonder still, how nights are spent, by good Ser Pindicator.
The magic fits, as does the wit, to stopper a rogue’s tongue.
I cast back my mind to games of yore, and ‘Silence 15' Radius’
I’d ask Pindi to tell us his spells, if still he wants to play-with-us.

Your last sentence I take means that you are uncertain of Rowains alignment.

My offer to the Outlander was not a friendly one,
My blade not given loyally, but rather up his bum.

I laughed out loud
I'm very proud.

I do question a little bit
Why on novice that you sit
Do you still find Rowain scummy?
Or do you think you could be chummy?

I cast my eye across our band, see friends that I do like:
The Rogue, The Wiz, perhaps the Monk, so where then do I bite?
Four foul fiends do yet remain, immersed within our crew,
Where to find them then if not me, Milady, nor -Ser-Doa- you?

So you like Serdoa, WK and Adrien
but you are less sure about everyone else?
I confess I don't know for sure
who you think has wolfish pelts.

Plus again, think on this, I beg you if you will,
Your scroll we have in play
A strong player brought down can offer still,
His words tomorrow day.

It makes this time more opportune,
A vet for us to slay.

So I understand you stand by
that earlier proclamation you did apply,
that today one of rowain and novice
should in the graveyard go find solace.

Have you revised to see what pindicator's death could mean?
I see you've asked for the clerics role, but haven't said your lean.

Maybe you are waiting now
for pindi to appear
but you may be waiting for too long
and your thoughts I do hold dear.

I ask who else had the motive, to snap his woodsy neck?

I'll just take this as an opportunity to say: It would be really great if one would not only ask rhetorical questions, but actually look himself and give an answer. Not only directed towards you Gaz, but everyone.

But directed towards you: I'd really like to know why you see WarriorKnight (Megumin IIRC) as townish. It can't be the post-count wink And the same goes for Adrien tbh, especially as I still want to vote him after nearly every post he makes.

Why is Pindicator scum in your opinion, Rowain? Simply because one of the three people voting you yesterday had to be scum? And by the way, what's your opinion on Gazglum?

Will answer as soon i'm not on mobile

Something I have thought I have clarified but obviously not enough. Voting to  lynch me is not a scum tell. Pressuring me or asking question is not a scum-tell per se. But constantly in  nagging way perhaps even garnered with wrong accusations asking the same questions over and over and over again is done on the sole purpose to aggravate, annoy and spoil any fun. In short to bring a player to breaking point and have an easy (mis)lynch. Not always a scum doing it sometime it is just a "nice person" who thinks he is funny (clue C in WW 46).

Now about the 3 of you. What from my PoV happened was . I vote Serdoa for a very weak attack on thrawn. I still stand by my opinion that this attack was not Serdoa-like. Then Lewwyn jumped in with his posts. and when this deflated novice stoked the fires again. Yes I know you claim you wanted to calm it but accept that I see your posts in the above mentioned way. So I am not happy with you 2. Pindi did not take part in the arguments per se he used the chance of the moment to jump on a "valid" target by claiming Rowain sounds different than in WW 48. I', sure I did in WW 48 I had not defend against someone who posts the same quargel over and over again. But I wonder how much different from WW 46 I sounded.

Lewwyn I can see that he is town in his usual full-of-himself confidence that can't be wrong at all. He usually decides who is scum first and then starts to hammer on it and no matter what answers happen he stays on point. It takes several hours before he even starts to consider another target. One has just to read day 3  of WW 48 and his attacks vs CH and Alhambram to see that pattern.
What does speak for Lewwyn as scum is the fact that Tarkeel had 2 posts targeting the Bard so maybe L found it necessary to silence that voice before more post come from the Druid. (post 93,95) but that is a long time past and I don't really consider it.

novice is a different matter. For one I expect you to read the thread meticulously and not ask me to answer the same question over and over again. To add we 2 have a hiustory. There was a game where you and sunrise were wolves and you 2 spent some time with constantly pestering me asking the same question over and over again until you got me lynched. So I have a good(?) memory of you as scum using that fighting tactic. That you the master of votes without deep reasons given find me doing the same thing annoying is ironic.

pindicator: Is alot harder to pin down. Here it is far more the impression I got from his votes. They are a Where is a good mislynch lets hop on". the argument is easy. On Day 1 he voted me after Lewwyn joined Gazglum on me. On day 2 he first tried to buddy up:

(October 27th, 2020, 13:28)pindicator Wrote: He can be annoying with that, can't he Rowain?  I had a bit of a novice-48 PTSD flashback there

then after novice voted for me he jumped on me too

(October 27th, 2020, 14:04)pindicator Wrote: Rowain and Serdoa both seem different to me this game. Serdoa was a wolf last and Rowain's been town.
Lewwyn, my question was nae rhetorical. Where else have I agreed with you?

So he kept in the background waited if someone voted for me then jumped on. to add He was absolutly convinced that thrawn was town- so far so ok. But the hole attack Rowain-play happened because I accused Serdoa to jump on thrawn. So why I'm scum for that pindi?

Thank God you're here Ser-Doa, to help us share the load.
Two rhymers sing among themselves, it makes my head explode!

Ser Adrien and Ser WarriorKnight, I confess I've not re-read.
My thoughts on them instinctual still, agreed with what they've said.

I know others scoff, but much stock I put in discussion of the scroll,
When moved it did we from Warlock to Rogue, it felt we were on a roll.

Green votes
6.1 votes: Serdoa (Serdoa, Tarkeel, WarriorKnight, Gazglum, Rowain, pindicator)
4.1 votes: Superdeath (novice, AdrienIer, Lewwyn, superdeath)

Those first four names Serdoa votes, it felt a band of town.
When looking scumwards, I chose instead the names were lower down.

Yes I know Adrien there, my whims not watertight
But for Day 2 he's not the one I would most likely fight.

This, definitely.

It's definitely tempting to think so, but there aren't many of us... The thought does make lynching Superdeath seem attractive simply from the pigeon-hole principle.

Pindicator... Yeah. Woe is him. His case on Lewwyn was bad, but I dunno... Too bad to be scum?

Rowain, now that you can think more clearly as people are voting elsewhere, any new insights?
I have to run.

@novice
I have not forgotten you question about Gazglum:

The problem with Gaz is that he can compete with Ichabod for the nicest guy on RB - trophy. He is friendly, good-humored and that makes it extremely hard to imagine him as scum. He is in a way like a really cute kitten which make you completely forget that this cute kitten is in reality a ferocious predator who will rip your plants, curtains or furniture to shred if it gets a chance.

I don't see him building cases. While I prefer him voting for novice over him voting for me I don't really see his argument.
