I hope its not something that I've spoken.

Your unhappiness is infectious
maybe its time you left us

I thought town-Lewwyn might drop verse for one post.

You did say earlier you would drop the verse if it got in the way, and then just a few posts back state that nobody is having trouble understanding you, so I thought I'd put you to a test.

I thought about it and almost did
but then I felt I'd be letting scum win
if you forced me to destroy my bid.

And I saw through it since you really didn't misunderstand,
it was clear you were playing sleight of hand.

Who says I'm not really having trouble parsing you?

Because honest, I have to re read your posts several times sometimes.

But that's irrelevant really. I would expect a town Lewwyn who pegged me as town to show at least a little bit of a helping hand, in case he's wrong on me (like he's done in games before). You just voted me instead.

Are you really? I think you're scum
you and gazglum...

Excuse me, to clarify: pegged me as town just the previous night. So if he was honest he'd be having some kind of towny feeling toward me now, even if they were clouded with later suspicions today

I can't believe I'm letting you talk me into this. I really feel as if I'm tarnishing my goddamn soul. It feels wrong.

Our squire says of Superdeath, not more likely to be scum
Yet hours on he puts his vote, and says his day is done.
It is a pattern we can see, the Novice hunts small game
Superdeath, Pindi and Savant, he only flirts towards Rowain.

Our ship of fools it lies becalmed, without leaders pushing motion
As though a painted ship, upon a painted ocean
In times like these, Glum fears the town elite,
Yet Novice will not look their way, he sees no issue in Lewwyn's play,
He pokes, he prods, he says his piece, he gently glides away.

He says we are a strange town indeed, not willing to plunge the knife.
I will plunge it sir, I am not afeared, to take another's life.
And I remind us again, we have the scroll, can afford to take a chance.
We kill a vet in error? Oops-a-day! We can bring them back into the dance.

Look I don't like this post. I haven't liked a lot of Gazglum's posts today. I diidn't really like Gazglum ending the day on thrawn either. I mean he's saying here in this last sttanza that he's not afraid to kill a vet. But Day 1 he sure seemed to be happy sliding back into thrawn. And look I don't think voting thrawn is a scum tell, but I think that coupled with his posts today and again this post in particular it feels scummy to me.

The basic problem with Gazglum's posts today has been the sort of half there commentary. He's basically equivocated on Superdeath with his beautiful haiku. He's complained about his restriction but also reveled in it and says he wouldn't give it up. And yeah he's pushed rowain to the back burner and said he'll get back to Rowain later. Instead he's focused on novice. Which, fair, if you go at novice you've got to be determined otherwise it might not happen. But I think he's particularly slammed me for my verse. And look I knew going into this that the verse would probably be a problem, but I really wanted to do it. I told myself I'd do the whole thing in verse. And honestly I'm pretty proud of the job I've done so far. But overall I think I've been as clear as I can possibly be with it. Gaz has been more obtuse IMO. And hey that's fine he's having fun with it, but its a pot-kettle situation I think.

I also don't like that novice and I have been tied together so much. It hasn't been on purpose, and I'll point out I didn't ask him to defend me to Rowain!! We both ended up voting Dark Savant but that's because the alternative was thrawn and as the day got long and the vote movement felt bad I got the feeling wolves were satisfied. So I voted with Novice on DS. During the night I voted with novice because I didn't disagree about the voting and really I just didn't care who got the item. I don't think that particular item is THAT valuable. In fact it's an item that anyone can have and that person will do what the group wants them to do, so it only matters based on whether you are planning to vote for that person the next day or not. Obviously as I reviewed and after the nightkill I felt more strongly about SD, but that's just what happens as you get new info.

Let's go back to the above post. I don't disagree about Gaz's points about novice playing it close to the vest. I think its fair to call him on that and to be fair I'm a bit skepptical of novice's superdeath vote when he says he's "parking" it there for the night. It makes the vote mean less and also Novice has been sort of defending SD throughout the day saying he thinks SD is unknown and not acting scummy because he was the same in WW46 and yes that's true. It's why I've been looking around at other people too.

So back to Gazglum's post. He says he fears the towns elite and he's saying novice but I think he means me too? In any case he's smear both of us with that brush. Specifically he's saying there's not enough movement or motion of votes. But honestly I don't think that's entirely true. I think there's been a lot of motion. I'm more suspicious of you pindi. And I'm more suspicious of Gaz. I'm less suspicious of Rowain and maybe SD I'm not sure.

But the last stanza really gets me. I think Gaz is paying it up for sure. But I also think that this is telling of the mindset. He's saying here that we should try to kill the strongest players because if we're wrong they can come back and help for a day. But I say that this is opportunistic. He's using the item's power as an excuse for his vote. It's okay if we lynch novice and he's a villager because he'll just come back! No damnit, this is why I've said the item isn't that important. They come back for a day and they disappear, they don't vote and they might still have the wrong reads! Plus they got lynched, don't you think it will color their perceptions? But the biggest point is that its STILL A MISLYNCH. Everything is not suddenly hunky dory. If Gazglum thinks novice is scum, he should vote for him. But he should try to convince people with this misleading platitude about fixing mistakes. I think he's being misleading and I think combined with all the rest of it, I think he's scum.
