[Game Thread] WW49: Wizards and Werewolves

As a Soldier of God, I must give my life for a friend.
And Night 1, the Glum did not want so quick an end.
So with all due respect, when it came to protect,
I treated you all with a bit of neglect.

An aside, if it matters, if I make my sacrifice scheme

That feels odd.

Can you quote/point to that information? I must have missed it.

No, I meant the PM we are getting from Comm when we receive a power / item. I did get one for me being silenced and one for the scroll, so I assume whoever gets Lewwyns power also gets a PM explaining how it works. What I wanted to know is if that explanation includes something like "If you do not speak in rhyme, then you are losing this power".

I'm trying to figure out how much Gaz knew - one of his posts now seems again to indicate that he isn't sure that he would only lose the power, while novice seems to be certain that it is obvious that it is like that. Now if novice would explain that he had asked Comm for clarification, it makes sense that Gaz, if he didn't, would be uncertain. If it is however clearly stated in the PM, then Gaz is playing his "fear" about what will happen when he does not rhyme up. Which would be a scum-tell in my book.

It was clearly stated without any need for clarification. But I don't know for sure that Gazglum was granted the exact same ability as I was, neither Gazglum nor Lewwyn has confirmed.

Lewwyn made a post to the effect that he granted Gaz the power, so I'd say it is indeed confirmed.

How can you or I know for sure?
But for all the lies I see in store,
The singing, thrice-confirmed, sure true.

Gaz, I parse this as: We don't know if we only would lose the power if we are not rhyming - but it is true that it is clearly stated that we only lose the power. What do I miss here?

Rowain alias Barbarian
Lewwyn alias Bard
Pindicator alias Cleric
Novice alias Fighter
AdrienIer alias Monk
Gazglum alias Paladin
Dark Savant alias Ranger
Serdoa alias Rogue
Warrior Knight alias Wizard

If not, Superdeath can't be a bad lynch.

Is that you paraphrasing what Gaz rhymed or did you want to state something else with that?

So you can protect someone once but then you die instead of them?
Or does the dying happen regardless if the protection was even necessary?

And what alignment info is not provided? Yours or that of whom you protected?

It was made very clear, I lose my vote addition if I drop my rhyme.
I believe this conveyed to both novice and me, at the start of our time.

I would expect Gazglums alignment will not be shown else it makes little sense . BG usually only dies if he successfully blocks a kill (example pindi last game) or is directly hit

My own, Ser-Doa.
My target would be still alive, and thus no info need provide.
My life lost only if the target would otherwise have died.

I tried to message my mother, and did it in rhyme.
Tis bad for my brain, I think I call time.

Ser Gaz I must confess I'm surprised to see you too much afraid of death to use your ability. It is not how I expect an honorable paladin to be.

For four years Ser Gaz slept, then answered the call,
Eager at last to give it his all.
Rewarded last time, with death on Night 1
This time Ser de Glum, wished to have him some fun.

And fun it has been, my D&D team.
Thanks be to Lewwyn, for charming my voice.
No go out and vote, and hang dear old No-Vice.
