This is the Lurker/mapmaker thread. If you are playing in this PB do not read any further
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

In spoilers, i will have all the various screenshots of the immediate area for each player. If there are no MEGA glaring reasons to edit something, i will try and remember the way to swap to each player and take a screenshot.. ( or someone can remind me... )
I appreciate all feedback.

In general
- I see you are using a donut map. You might want to add/delete some tiles on the coastlines, so that the conteur doesn't immediately give away the map type.
- Do jungle tiles exist on this map?
- Very few lake tiles
Specific starts
Start 1: - You can remove the river east of the scout without changing the tile yields
- Feels like a lot of grassland here
- Ugly river on the western copper
- Has way more rivers than others
- Do gold and gems exist on the map? And bananas?
Start 2: - Where is coal?
- Grassland/plains ratio is better then #1 but still could use a few more plains
- Could use some more hills
- Has too few rivers compared to others
Start 3: - Where is coal?
- Copper and Iron in BFC and iron on a river
- Same as #2 with regards to hills and plains
- Maybe move marble 1N to reduce that resource cluster
Start 4: - You hate coal, right?
- Hills amount feels good here
- 1 or 2 more plains in the N and I'm happy
- Iron and Copper in the BFC
Start 5:
- Another environmentally friendly start without coal
- More plains
- Resource cluster around and in the BFC
- Iron and copper in BFC
Start 6: - No coal today, my love is gone away, ...
- More plains in the NW
- Copper, horse, iron in the BFC. Make the rusher unhappy
Start 7: - Coal, there's coal. Thank god
- Horse and copper in the BFC
- Common at least connect the river to the ocean
- Other players had 1 or 2 luxury resources in the BFC. This one not.
Start 8: - You remembered the coal
- Strategic resources in the BFC
- More hills, please
- More plains in the NE
- Resource poor NE
Start 9: - And we are back to no coal
- More plains
- Fewer rivers
Start 10 - Bananas are not a luxury in the BFC
- Hills and plains look good
- My eyes, MY EYES. That's the ugliest river I have ever seen. Just remove that river.
- Copper in the BFC
Start 11: - Too many rivers, more plains
- Let me guess that are the only gems and jungle tiles. If you fear the spread of jungles in the BFC, then just put the right terrain (plains) or resources around them.
- Copper in the BFC
- And here we have the player, who will win in the modern era thanks to the only oil resource on the map

Conceptually, it looks like you put 3 foods in the fatcross, plus ivory and a couple of instances of 2nd lux that requires a later tech.
As mentioned, a bunch of copper/horse/iron in the fatcross, but not all. That should be consistent.
Most setups have 9 food hammer excess (before lighthouses/CS)
Specific issues:
2 - moving 1S can put pigs in the fatcross, losing a PH bonus and a turn. No one else has a choice like that, so the pig should probably go south
6 - has only 8 excess foodhammers. seems light on rivers. Marble in the fatcross is unusual.
8 - 12 Foodhammers, but no ivory.
10 - crab is not coastal, no 2nd luxury (bananas in jungle other wise)
11 - 10 food hammers.
A couple of the cities have jungled early luxes as 2nd lux. that seems better and worse - better because IW is faster than calendar, but jungle spreads pretty easily, so that could screw people over some.
Completed: PBEM 34g (W), 36 , 35 , 5o, 34s, 5p, 42, 48 and PB 9, 18, 27, 57

Uranium
Banana
Pig
Rice
Dye

Spices
Sugar

Coal will be added to every start under the starting hill. Aluminum/oil/uranium will be added where needed to each start so that everyone has a source. Mainly just looking to make sure no one has 50 extra food than someone else. I expect no early combat, which is why the copper/horse is slightly more random?
Last night before i went partying i tried to give every start 2 of something unique.. ALSO, making a map with 11 players and not say... 10 or 12 and everyone having the same # of neighbors just isnt happening. Idk what crack they are smoking.. but it must be that Washington D.C. crack.
Silver should be available to every player on their island. Gold is only available via Astro island. Tried to go with light editing on this run, other than adding a food resource if i dont see one in a 12x12 square.
Ill try and fix those in the next couple hours.

Also you might want to rename the lurker thread title. It's not helpful and we have quite a few players, who don't know Noble.
