What is the odds that this is what we are in for?

Not the point of the hilarious post, but 2005, 2012 and 2017 show why insurance exists. I've thought about it and GA-S at Likely R is too much. It goes to lean r. Also, if I where serious MO gov would be Likely R, not Solid R which I put it for RB.
No more ratings changes, expect maybe GA runoffs. (: (November 2nd, 2020, 20:05)Woden Wrote: What is the odds that this is what we are in for? Depends on how large the supposed "blue wave" actually is, but I think it's quite likely. If it wasn't already obvious, 2020 has more than amply demonstrated that norms are a woefully insufficient check on a political party willing to do anything to retain power. Trump has made it abundantly clear that he will not only refuse to concede, he'll prematurely declare victory, strategically litigate swing states to invalidate mail-in ballots, and ultimately triumph either through a scenario like that described in the video, or through the largess of his hastily-stacked Supreme Court. I'm hardly the first person to point this out, but Trump's endless inveighing against mail-in voting isn't simply the crazed rambling of a man in the throes of personality disorders compounded by dementia. There's a nefarious but strategic calculous in play; by inducing a stark partisan divide between those who are voting by mail vs. in-person on Election Day, Trump has made it simple for Republican lawyers and officials to segregate likely Biden ballots from likely Trump ones in order to systematically invalidate and disenfranchise the former. Know too that each extreme measure they take only encourages them to double-down; after all, the more grotesque and unpopular their actions, the less likely even moderate Biden or "Never Trump" erstwhile Republican voters will be inclined to forgive and forget their transgressions after the election, so why not go all-in? The Republican Party as a whole embraces the cold calculous that power is power, and how you obtain it is irrelevant so long as you can wield it. I doubt that way of thinking will work out well for anyone in the end, but there could be a lot of trouble before we get to that point.
LOL Trump won't be able to do anything with DEM House expect appoint judges (and even this could backfire, could cause DEM court-packing). But the lib salt is worth it! This result also secures the "alt-right"'s place in history. I'm sure DEMs will win in 2024 and then win Texas in 2028 and GOP will stop being viewed a viable party. This will cause standard GOP to go 0-4 against Obama coalition (Bill Clinton wouldn't be considered a real DEM), while Trumpism goes 2-0.
“Lib salt is worth it”
Conservatives just want to see the world burn for their personal satisfaction.
