Ahh, got it. Tiny little city icons. Some thoughts:
- The western continent seems to have more good land than the others
- The eastern and western continents have easier/more obvious access to city states than the others
- The Northern and especially Southern continents have more tundra and desert than the other two, including in the second and third rings of the capital. It looks, dare I say it, Canadian?
Gut check is that north is fine, south needs some help.
- Is the northernmost start on the western continent actually on fresh water? That river looks very odd.
- There's a very wide range in whether capitals have access to which strategic resources, and if so in what ring.
- Capital locations are probably fine? None are amazing, none are terrible. The only five foodhammer tile in easy reach is the marsh sugar, western start on the southern continent, and that site looks food rich, production starved even without a marsh on the tile. That is definitely the start location I would be least happy with on this map considering all the snow down there. Western start, northern continent is the other one I probably wouldn't like very much, only two 4 foodhamer tiles in the first two rings.
