Good theme choice! I'm looking forward to seeing what the TV adaption will be like. It's been a while since I read them, and they're so long they've sort of blurred in my head by now, so hopefully the plot will still hold some suspense for me.

Sadly the filming got halted and pushed back due to Covid We're going to be waiting for a while.

I'm on the last book right now. The final battle is just a few chapters ahead. I want to keep reading, but I don't want the journey to end!

I'm between two Imperialistic civs and I don't like my lands at all. Could have used double gems next to the capital 



I'm thinking Numids against Civac, and pray that Gira doesn't attack me. Pindi in his PB52 thread said the counter to Numids is HA's and I'll take his word for it.

Also my micro changed because I didn't write it down and I forgot the small stuff

I discovered you can write html code in the chat box o.o
Wonder if more complicated code works or if it's just text formatting that is allowed. I didn't try.



Not looking great for my game. Gira has Creative too so that won't help me.

Second city settled. The name means "Leader of the attack":



Mongolian city is empty and copper is not hooked up.

Small note: I don't get trade routes because I settled before roading.

But a warrior popped out when I ended turn. So I sent in a peace offer.

Yesss some good news! We blindly settled in range of horses and we can start hooking them up next turn:



Also I'm going for Numidians next, sooner than expected. If HA's counter them, then the solution is to hit before the enemy has HA's.

Headstart on map feedback:



No sea food (capital BFC has 2, but all other coast combined on both sides has just 1 crab)

Now 100% personal preferences:

I like natural looking maps (which donut is not) and more varied terrain (this is all grassland rivers)
I like maps with more space (me and Gira fighting for a tile between our 2nd cities is a bit crazy)

I whipped our chariot upon seeing Gira's chariot spawn in last turn.
Now we can 1-turn an archer on top. Why, you ask?
