As we thought Mjmd settled 2 tiles away taking away C and D spot. I dont know what to do. Are we going full army to kill that city? What do we do with the settler? WE have horses so maybe make charriots to move fast is good enough? But maybe he brings spears. Idk.
He asked for peace and i didnt accept
Good question:
- We can still settle a good city 1 north of the forested corn. - However, we can take out that garrison with an archer and 4 warriors unless he reinforces. Vodka gives us 93.5% A middle ground might be to move the settler and all the units to be within range to either attack or settler next turn

Peace with Ruff would be very good. Means we can focus on mjmd so ask away.

I think thats not happening, im not sure if you have asked him those turns you played but he is refusing everytime i ask. It has no sense that war and it is just cousing problems for us for no reason at all. (December 17th, 2020, 02:22)chumchu Wrote: Good question: So we are actually conceding that spot? That hill would be huge for our defence. And i feel we need to punish him, that city is so far from his capitol, we should be able to bring units before him. Also thought about moving the axe from grapes to that area to fight it, we have the advantage of ther more power more production and its closer
The decision is hard: Either we fight for it now, hurting our economy. Or we fight for it later when it will be more defended. It is not clear cut, having both options is good.
If we want to fight for it we should bring the axe. Leave the spear in grapes then. Move the spear on the sheep hill closer in that case. We should also start new axe in grapes in that case and work the corn. On the front; roading towards Ravenna gives us the option to move all units in next turn from the forest to Ravenna in one turn. If however he gets a large garrison in next turn we should settle an inferior site as we can not get our preferred one. I do not think that Ruff will sign peace because he wants us in a two-way war with mjmd. You can try but the chance of him accepting is minimal.

Its true it will hurt our economy but also his. I mean he is not pro nor fin and he is settling so far from his capitol he has to be in a really bad shape of gold. If we force him to make units and defend that it will be more costly for him than us i think. It seems ruff is just bothering us but not really in the mood of taking us down for now at least. Once we get the dun in grapes im not sure he can do anything. What i dont understand is why an axe instead of a chariot, the chariot will arrive faster than the axe and its cheaper.
An axe is a better defender in grapes if we move away our current axe and Ruff shows up with more units.
