Yeah sorry, my son is sick (his first fever, I hope it is teeth induced) so I was not to focussed on the game today.

We lost the race, bug/undocumented loss of overflow confirmed.



But we would have lost ot anyway as Woden was able to finish one project this turn or buy with / the remaining points.



At least this forced him to delay getting his strongest production city running again.



The next one is Ava Lovelace, GM can use another district to get its Encampment down for some further protectiong of our Campus Hub as well as the experience boost for all the troops produced here.

Something though seems of, in this screen, it feels there has been a big change in engineer points.



What a nasty twist for Woden, I was not even checking if Ichabod was competing in the race and apparently he was and bought Gustave, so Woden ended up with James Watt.

I am intruiged to see which wonder Ichabod is going for with Gustave, probably one of our list.
Woden started building Alhambram in Gondor (7 turns for 710 already including skyscrapers), so another one we can scratch from our list.
We should try to get quickly to research the techs for Oxford and Big Ben as these are the most important ones. GM should also start best cast early on Potala as long as Woden is still focussed on Alhambra so we can get a head start in it as KG is ~10 weaker before multipliers, however we can get an additional 10% multiplier thanks to Iteru..

No time to really analyze the defense situation today and probably not either tomorrow if my son is not feeling a lot better, so I will go by gut with some PS corps and FC inside of the cities to maximise shooting potential.
There are few places in our territory where no city can shoot, I will probably get some units covering these areas to punish any break through.

Ichabod reoffered DoF, I sent him a MA request again, hopefully he accepts as there is an Eureka connected to a lvl 2 Alliance and it would be great sharing visibility with him.

I also offered peace to CMF/williams in the hope that he accepts to get a 10 turn breathing room and Bortus can start loosing some of its crazy WW (the other bug I assume we have this game). He is unlikely to accept, especially considering that we can instantly denounce and declare with "To Arms" next turn.

Was going to suggest trying peace with CMF. Unlikely i expect unless he is 10 turns from some key tech.

even a PS core is barely a match for a Cuirassier.

A PS corps is 11 CS better than a Curassier and 1 CS better than a Curassier Corps. 1 PS cost us, I believe, 430 so 860 for a corps, while a curassier costs us ~550 so ~1100 for a corps.

The big difference is its price and the GG support it can receive. Suboptimal has a Renaissance GG but no Industrial GG, I believe, so he can support his PS and Muskets but not his Cavalry and Curassiers.
We have a Renaissance/Industrial GG covering all our units, but he is bound at EM for the defense of the Campus area there. I went ahead and bought 2 PS so we can create 2 corps. They will pass by Matterhorn for the promotion and then go S.

I also upgraded our remaining two Xbows to FC (1 at John Lamarr and the other one near Bortus) as well as our lone Courser to a Cavalry.

I think you are right though that we also need a more reactive force to catch any break throughs or punish ranged/siege units, for that I think we could make a cavalry corps and 1-2 Curassier Corps. We also still want 2 FC (Isaac and AK) and best case a Bombard/Artillery in the encampment to come at GM so we can hold that area better.



Our new economy is decent, I switched our diplomaticpolicy to gain  and  as well as increased alliance points from Ichabod, our envoys brought 17  before.

Time to finalize our build queues and militarize, we need gold income to be able to pay for the upcoming upkeep. We also need more trade routes to really benefit here, Boruts and AK are currently raided, GM has one incoming soon.



I am a show off, but GM has now 170 base  in our Heroic Age, we get a 10% bonus on industrial or later wonders on top of iteru and potentially skyscrapers, so 35% is possible when building a wonder next to a river.

Jep, Bortus has a started Project, but I need to check the timelines.
Ichabod can rush buy him soon which we cannot compete with as he has good cash from plundering Woden. Ichabod finished the tech for Oxford btw, would not surprise me to see him go for it with his GE. We need to be quick to get Big Ben started at GM.

The Governor from the GM would be great as we can either get embrasure for Viktor or Emissary for Amani to speed up the Bruins revolt. There is a risk that Eleanore can instantly get the city but I feel we should be stronger at Bruins while he has more loyality pressure on wild. Do you know how we can check that exactly?

yeah Oxford may be beyond us.

moksha has a promotion that heals all unit in one turn iirc it is only in 1 city though.

not sure how to see loyalty but will look into it.

but viktor is not in Isaac, or only city with a military academy and also the place we want Moksha to be to have maximum religous pressure for easy era points by enemy city coversion
