He will have 2 culture and we will have 2 culture so we should be equal right? Is he a turn ahead of us in culture wrt to the furs? I would get galley first regardless. We do not want a monument there. Better to get a library as the city has 3 food sources.

I would not be overly worried about workers near mjmd. Look at his Neapolis garrison. You should guard them with spears or horse archers. as two-movers would be the likely snipe unit.
