[SPOILERS]A new adventure of Vanrober always guided by chumchu

A bit unlucky again with fights. But this time just slightly.

This was the fights overall.

Battle of Raspberry. I think i should have win 1 or 2 more. But its fine. He conquered
11% i won
25% i won
27% he won!
28% i won
2.5% i won
63% he won
93% he won
99.2% he won
100% he won
Battle of Lemon. I think i could have won 1 more, but again its fine. Lemon survived.
58% i won
31,7% i won
33,1% he won!!!
34,8% i won
15% i won
28,8% i won
30,4% i won
28,7 he won!!!
71,7% i won
The stack of the capitol moved into pomegranate. It will be a coin flip im not sure he is taking. If he takes and win i think we could recapture/kill the rest of his stack. If the stack dies on pome i think we could hold a bit more, we can stack so many axes on the cities. We can keep whiping hard. But for now we are having so many OF. Got another GG, i settled it on Grapes. Right now its making an axe every turn, and then will whip once and take 2 axes on 2 turns and again... and having those with shock will slow him down a lot. Im not sure if he has more stacks if he hasnt we might be able to hold this possition for some time. I had to waste 80g to upgrade an axe on lemon last turn which slow us to construction, but i think its worth.

This is the battlefield, i have less time so i wont edit them, i hope its clear for everyone. Otherwise just tell me

Looks like battle of raspberry went bad for us but battle of Lemon went really well =) That is much better for us then the opposite. Raspberry would be very hard to hold long term so losing it shortens our front. A shame about all the production into TGLH there. If only those had been axes =( However, that is playing not to lose rather than playing to win. Lemon protects our weekly defended backlines, if that had fallen we could have been overwhelmed.

Some comments:
- If you are not sure if we can hold pomegranate I would have used the GG to get shock for the axes there instead.
- Why are you building a spear in lemon? I can only see a very low chariot but a lot of spears. With another axe and a turn of healing we could try to take a swing at the stack close to lemon.
- Our defenses are hardening and we are nearing the point where he needs to get catapult to break through. He could also do it by concentrating all his praetorians against one city. I think Lemon would be the best candidate for him.
- Now that we have a shorter more defensible front we want to have additional roads between Lemon and Pomegranate and Figs.
- Unless he takes another gamble I think he might retreat his pomegranate stack to group up with another army. Maybe he will head towards lemon?

The spear was because i think he can start bringing more and more chariots if we only build axes. But maybe its better just to keep going with axes.
Maybe it was a good idea to promo them into shock but there is so many units that i dont know if that exp shared would have promo them, But yeah i should have asked you before moving. MB
I lack workers but i think its better getting axes now than workers.
I agree he might go for lemon, so what to do in that case?

You definitely do not have to ask me before moving. You are the turn player, I as a dedlurker give comments and advice. If the goal is to learn, the best that to do is to go with what you think is right and then see what happens and what others think.

Axes over workers definitely.

Good question. Can we take out one of the stacks while they are separated? That would be ideal but hard. If not, can we get enough defenders in to stop lemon falling if both stacks combine? That might be doable by stacking axes there. Since he has a lot of axes in pomegranate stack and a lot of shock units, another highly promoted archer might be in order.

I know i play and i see your paper as a guide out of my focus. I got more info but you have more experience and fress ideas i might be in a tunnel vision mode because of my major info. And i think making what you said it was a better call and i didnt even thjoguht about before moving that GG. So yeah, thats a good learning experience!

I think we can try to kill several units if he moves, we could move all the HA of the capitol and some axes too. Might be the right call there. We will see

I played and looked closer to every of the next batle and he has to be angry, he cannot get any cities. To get pomegranate he has to win all the fights or lost at most 1. Which seems unlikely.

Ive put axe on Lemon since we have an archer in case he tries to kill with chariots. I think if he atacks with the praet he would atack into an axe not into the archer, not sure. If he kills the archer we might be fucked if he plans to build chariots. I think he did a huge mistake by not making barracs. With the second promotion we had no way to defend.

I has been wonderring if i should put an axe in bare land next to the capitol with shock to bait and then try to kill his stack but there was a river and his praets are too good. So i finally decided to go slow and just fortify. Pome is making 4h into an axe to double whip next turn and make 2 axes with the OF.

Finally decided on the new city to make the granary and then will make axes, i think it was worth for whipping purposes. On 2 turns borders will pop on arbutus getting the horses for that city.

Next turn we get the galley and will fill it with the axes, in 2 turns will move the galley with both axes to take ruffs city. Im not sure if destroy it or keep it. hes capitol is on the outside sea, not sure if we could defend from a water atack over there. Its true that it would take long to make the galley go over there but still. What do you think?

Ruff plan maybe has changed. He 1 whiped this turn, not sure what. we ll need to see demos next turn. WE have the sentry unit on Pome and cant move.

Ive tried some diplo. ASked gira silk. Asked stone to civac just in case we lose it again. I think some duns on Quince Arbutus might make sense. Also asked amica to stop trade with mjmd. That way mjmd lose 1 happy and might slow him down a bit. Asked civac to war mjmd with copper-copper. Copper copper with cairo too, he asked for OB adn i gave him. I dont care if mjmd gets mad.

It looks like we are stabilizing =) Good diplo attempts. It also tells others that we are not out of it yet.

Killing Ruff would also be good news. I would keep that city as I do not think that mjmd will divert resources to anything naval, if he does we could stop him with galleys with coast defense bonus. We can not spare the time for a settler anytime soon.

I didnt say, i started a WB on Sloe, since we need it for the clams of quince that ruff destroyed. ITs about to end soon.

Well we are not done yet but we lost 2 really good cities with 5 buildings each, so it has been huge. I would love to get construction and take them abck but i dont see that possible without the dogpile with Cairo and Civac. And probably they are no up to it. Pobably mjmd has diplo with them.

Ruff is dead unless he gets 2 units in his city  and we get bad rolls. I mean, we are atacking archers with axes with CR2 and he has just 20% of defence in that tile, with 5-10% fortification, It would be sad if we cant kill that city.

mjmd wasted a forth of what he has been spending in playing this war. what i think is that we are not giving peace right (not sure if he is going to ask for it or no)? I mean, we have much less production already whiped down and if we give him peace he can tech freely and lose the WW he has generated. This way he is spending money he has to defend everything and we can try to make him busy.
