Interesting. I'm using the Steam version of BtS, which is automatically patched up to 3.19 or whatever. I am not using the original_unsupported_release version. I am using Zulan's exe. I'm using the wrapper that Ramk provided for faster Pitboss connection, but I'll have to double check what this does. Can't quite remember.

I was able to load Cairo's and miguelito's saves, but naufragar's gave me this error message:

So I think it is a problem with modified assets, and it looks like I need to fix my install 
Edit: My version is loaded from CDs. Old school.

Eh... If my version's the only one causing problems, maybe don't bother and we just get Miguelito to start.

Fine with me as well.
Regarding the issue I was also able to open everything else but nauf's save (same error that Dave got). I also have old school CD version.
