We could always allow duplicate leaders/civs

If there is more interest we could certainly add that as a voting option.

We should set cap just so map making can get started for such a large map. If Noble / anyone else at RB isn't willing to make the map (or is playing) should we ask over at the German forum? They are used to large maps; although from what I see / has been discussed in Pitboss 88 their map standards are quite different.

Duplicate leaders/civs seems like a fine voting option for the next big PB.

Based on the map standards/ect of pb88 id rather strongly prefer not to have a mapmaker from that side of the internet.
Some people found is hard to make a balanced map for 10 people, what about 51? Reading some of theyr threads I think we have alot to learn from those guys and some of theyr methods are way better then us. And theyr sportmanship is too the roof compared too many of us. For example theyr setler race decide by a coinflip by referee, so no setlers race and clock problems there.

I personally would think there's less of a requirement to make a perfectly balanced map when it gets this large. Your neighbors and interactions with them will decide more than resources. Obviously they should all be playable starts

This, but also I would prefer to have a map maker than not. If people know people reach out. Have a couple slots to fill so worth doing in either case.

I noticed 'JoshyBravo963' has entered in a series of votes in the spreadsheet. I assume I speak for all that newcomers are welcome, but it would be good if you can make an account and a post here to confirm?

Also FWIW as a lurker, I thought the PB88 map was really impressive considering the constraints of balance+realism.

You know you're an epic mapmaker, none of these kids know that though. Help some brothers out?
