Yeah so it didnt break when i took it, but with me it didnt grow and mjmd took it and had the option to raze or not. 

Lingonberry was taken and kept by mjmd, then i recaptured and when mjmd captured again it autorazed, so i still dont understand well the mechanic

No as long as a city grew one time during the whole game it won't be autorazed. Doesn't matter who owned the city at anytime.

Turn 112

I have forgotten to put the turn in the top for this last turns i hope you lurkers still understood it.

This turn was harder than expected, losing that silver and the TR of the second island has hurt a lot. Fking galley, he brought a chariot to counter us so unlucky. The thing is that we needed 10 beakers to get construction on 1 turn instead of 2. And i had to spend a lot of time trying to make it work. It was hard but i got it, all the cities working cottages at full steam. On blue berry we needed to work a 2f3g tile instead of the fish 5f2g to make it work xD

Anyway next turnw e have constructiona nd will whip a ton of cats and maybe some phants? i think we need to go offensive. he is so bad on gnp, he is only getting gold by razing cities so if we can make him stop using cottages and go full production he will get into bankrupcy. We are on a lost possition either way.

Amica didnt answer to the fish fish, he is keeping the whiping so im start getting scared, i asked again just in case i didnt the last turn eventhoguh im pretty sure i did. Cairo and civac say nothing either. I send this 3 ivory and coper war mjmd hopefully they understand that we will have phants next turn. e: i just remember we need iron for phants, fk, well i hope they still understand that we will get construction next turn and we will have a chance against mjmd.

       

Just look at that graph of amica, he is goign full steam on units, if he is coming after us we are fuked.

Amica: Are we more use to him as a buffer or as a conquest should be the question he is asking himself.

- The better our defense is the less appealing conquest looks and the more likely he is to consider us as a buffer.
- If it looks to him that we are about to fall he might declare to stop mjmd from getting everything.
- He might be looking to expand to keep up in size with Noble on his other side.

What we can do is keep power high and maybe get some spears into the border cities. I would assume if he tries to strike us in the back he would want surprise. A well placed scout to see if he is massing troops/ signal to him that we are keeping tabs on him could also be merited.

Unfortunately that is resources that could have been catapults so it is not an easy choice.

Im thinking on making a chariot to see his border. But he is playign before us all times which might mean he doesnt want to atack? im not sure.

But we need cats right now. 

I need to believe he (mjmd) didnt fk our micro by puting any unit on a comerce tile we were working. I would be really angry if he does that. It would meke me not play any other simultaneus PB ever again xD

Turn 113

Finally got construction. But our economy is about to crash. If we keep the whiping we wont last much. But if we dont double whip this cats im not sure how are we going to make anything.

So i decided to ask for peace to mjmd if he give us 100g. Im sure he is not accepting but if he look at our beautiful bridges.... he might change his mind. Quince is going to be lost as planned next turnl, i hope to win 2 of the 3 fights. But if he gets the luck he has been having he will win 2 or even 3. If somehow he atack the archer with the praet and kills it then the axes will fall vs his chariots. Anyway we have a good stack on Arbutus and on Pome and on the capitol as we planned. So its on our plans to lose that city, we couldnt defend all with him being after us and arbutus was easier to defend even thought a bit worse. I will cry a lot to lose buddism city burn, but mjmd just wanted to kill us for no gains... I really need to talk to him and ask why to throw 2 games for 0 reasons, why to make a "superdeath". Also i want to see the lurkers thoughts a bout this war. Maybe im too noob and there was a good reason behind this atack?

Anyway its being really nice to learn how to defend, and i think i have done it for now pretty decent (for what i spected at least). I loved this game so far.

So looking on the diplo we had, next turn we could cancel the trade with Gira to get some gold back, but that happy is totally needed. Right now Goose and Blueberry are needing that happy, and if i keep whiping they will keeping needing it. 
We need to wait 5 turns to cancel the gold to Noble. (little question, do i need to cancel it or is it canceling automatically? Its the first loan i accept/ ask for so i am a bit unsure what to do)
So as long as we get enough money in 5 turns we should be fine.

   

Micro: Arbutus had it the best possible, it took me so much to calculate it some turns ago, and im so proud. Next turn will be double whiped with the max OF possible back. I think it will be another cat? or maybe a phant? (yes i dont know how to read, its ivory OR iron not AND). The doubts come with blueberry since its already at happy cap on 4 pop, its true that on 5 turns will be better but if gira take the silk back or amica cancel the stone... 

   
   
   

So mainly the question would be shall we go to try to kill him? We have already more units on Arbutus than his stack so we actually could try but just with one cat seems impossible, we would need at least 3 cats to make it work. And the stack of Lemon... it has more units than pome right now so not really a possibility to trow it there. We need more cats and more units. I think in this moment he will realize that cannot continue the atack and he will have 2 options, peace out and go for cairo or civac; Or whiping to grownd his empire to see us dead as his last chance since if that happens civac will just backstab him without loses. So im not sure what he will do, i think we are on a solid defence and with even options to atack some. We cannot beat him since he has double production and double population or even triple, but we could force him to whip out his cottages and make him suffer on costs. 

Im not sure how is his economy right now, has 200g more or less and he will get some capture gold too. Will it be enough to get construction? I hope it doesnt. If he gets construction soon all we have just said is wrong. Our hope is he doesnt get it fast so we can defend a bit more. Making 15 or 20 cats if he give us peace somehow will warranty our survival for an atack. Not sure if its going to happen though.

Im just writting what i think without any planification so im not sure if its understandable what i want to mean. In case of any doubts you know you can ask me.

Many hard question. I think you should focus on military before economy for sure. There is no other tech that we are close to so as long as you avoid losing units to strike we are fine. Taking a fight should help the economy as well. Cats before elephants for now as the elephants are not much better against his preatorians than axes and could be facing his spearmen.

I think it is easy to understand what you mean here.

I'm not so sure about the state of his economy. If he can build wealth or research then should be able to get to construction by building fewer units. So you should plan for him to get it if he is trying his hardest to win this war.
What that means is that he will need to sacrifice a lot to break your defense but he can do it eventually, but at high cost. If he is determined to do that I think that the only thing that could stop him is another player declaring on him. No one has been willing to do that as they do not want to face his AGG praetorians either.

The other problem might be amicalola, i ve thoight to tell him somehow take sloe. That city could belong to him if we think about proximity. He might try to snipe that. But if he atacks to blueberry we are done. It has just a warrior, not even walls. 

Im doubting if he is coming. If he does what should we do? What should eb the defending plan? Amica will be coming with HA so we need spears for him and aces for mjmd. Not sure how to act if thats the case

So amica declared war and took sloe and blueberry i think. They are good cities and we cant fight agains praets and HA... So i think im going to move everythibg to the capitol and fortify there i guess?
