[PB59 Suite and civac] Chaos at home

Welcome to our PB59 thread. Suite has kindly agreed to dedlurk me this game. Thanks, Suite. smile

The main thread for our civ is here: https://www.civforum.de/showthread.php?1...-zu-Hause/  (in German)

I will however also post updates here but not as frequently as in the civforum thread. My dedlurker Suite also seems inclined to repeat some of his thoughts here.

Your first Civ choice: Korea

Your first leader choices: Shaka, Nebuchadnezzar

Starting screenshots will be posted in a couple days. You may wait to finalize a choice until then. You may reject or accept any of these choices. You will have a max of 2 more choices of civ and a max of 4 more leaders.

Here is the starting screenshot. Let me know when you've decided whether to lock in either the civ or leader or what you'd like to reroll. Confirm in the next two days please. I will be rerolling for everyone that rejects either civ or leader or both once I have all confirmations for this round of selections.

Your start:

@Lewwyn:

We chose Shaka and reject Korea.

We discussed it at Civforum. Abstract: Korea is bad, because the UB is too late, the Hwacha is situative, starting technologies are okay, but we don't really need Mining here, let alone Mysticism. Nebukadnezar is also not good even though he synergizes a bit with Korea: The Phi-trait is too weak (considering this influx on resources and river tiles like we expected with a RB map) and Ind can be deceptive in a PB this big (25 teams). Moreover, no failgold economy, so discard. Agg however looks very interesting to both of us and Exp comes in handy early despite the worker nerf. So yes, Shaka is quite good and we don't want to try our luck there. Losing Korea however will be most likely an improvement, regardless of the starting position.
