If we can hold KG, it will soon build our first Airport, with a chop support. It is the only place with an open district slot, so it has to be here.

something to aim for. That would make a huge difference if not too late.

We lost in Woden's counterattack:
- 2 FC Armies
- 1 AT Crew Army (and one at EM which I stupidly placed on my Campus instead of letting it heal up in EM)
- 1 FC
- Our CF Encampment and Arty Army in there

A tough strike and we will not be able to keep the USSR tactic rolling for long. However I decided to strike back to slow his annoying tanks as best as possible.



I killed 1 near full Health Tank Army and a Cavalry Corps near GM.
I also damaged his near full health tank which destroyed CF Encampment so he has only one near ful Health Tank at this front for the moment.

I also tried to reduce his attack angles on CF as best as possible and even positioned one of our FC Armies quite open on KG IZ to bait him into killing it in order to reduce the possible strike on CF.
I really should have already build one Tank Army myself just to not loose out on 10 CS all this time, a big fail on my part and I switched to combustion. It is also a prerequisite to getting nukes :weedy:



CMF meanwhile is building Frigates, this is positive in my book, as they have no use against me (tbh also not against suboptimal, but at least he can do stuff against him with them)

Yeah ot forced us to research AT crews as we were not able to field any Tanks or Infantry. That is 1790 science - 40% for Eurekas we were forced to research to get a unit which is plain worse than tanks but needed to not be overran completely

Here I go for last turn



We got two GP this turn, Tesla would have been nice but Suboptimal last 2nd sniped it as I was not ready to invest any resources into him. This one is arguably better in the short term as it helps us getting to rocketry and thus rocket launchers more quickly.



Woden took a breath last turn by upgrading into two fighters and heal promoting his tanks, they should now all have Barding for another 7 defense against my ranged attacks. Taking a breath means killing one AT Crew Army (66%) and a FC Army.
At least in return I was able to finish the Tank Army in CF Encampment and one FC Army. I made the killing blow on the latter with an AT in the hope of destroying the Fighter underneath, but it looks like the fighter just occupies the tile and I cannot even attack it with other units, nice and absolutely counterintuitive. Where is the point in building airports / airfield when your planes can hang out on tiles like this and are an indestructible blockade of the tile?

At least I am still learning, the Fighter mean that we need to get Anti-Air as soon as possible, but I kept our current research target in tanks as the 10 CS for the city centers are more important.
Woden should show up with Bombers soon though and then it will become very tough

I am planning to set up a quick turn of unit buying by repairing the ancient hall and chop repairing the GMC the turn the AH is repaired so we can buy a Tank Army or Arty Army

getting the tank army is a really good shout. bombers are going to be a huge issue though.

i don't see how those fighters can just be on any tile they like. weird

We are running out of units, this turn only some minor damage on a Tank Army and a FC while Woden is preparing CF with his Arty Army. We can shoot the Fighters with our CC but the damage is ridiciously low.



3 Turns to Facism and another 5 CS and unit multiplier. I will then build a quick Tank Army and try to execute a double repair on our AH -> GMC so we can buy an Arty Army as well.
