I accidentally clicked on Suboptimal thread but got out before it loaded

Merchant Republic and Monarchy have had their policy slot allocations changed:

Merchant Republic was 1/2/1/2, is now 1/2/2/1
Monarchy was 3/1/1/1, is now 2/1/1/2

I'd expect that anyone in one of these governments (like myself) will be forced to update their policies. If something wonky happens when I play the turn this evening I'll post here.

OK...the new government arrangements and policy type changes appeared on my turn. However, the game did not force me to change policies or government types despite my current policy allocation not matching the new one for my current government. I suspect that these changes won't be enforced until you would normally have a policy change available.
