To be fair, as Noble (+ maybe others) has been saying, another fool-proof way to solve this problem would just be to have players check the tech thread at least once every few days, as most of us already do. It doesn’t seem like much to ask; It’s literally the work of reading ~1-5 posts.

IMO, if u are able to login and play your turn, take the time to open the forum and check if anything new has happened. It takes another minute of your time.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

If you mean the 'circumnavigation message' error: Yes, this bug is included in the current version. So at some point in the future the mod needs to be updated to prevent the message. Well, I do not want force an update just for UI improvements…, but on the other hand this changes doesn't provide a target for controversy in my opinion. The risk of failure is relatively low because the updating is by now a quite well-tested process. Maybe this argument will convince you: With the update you had not to stare on this longish list of unmet contacts anymore. I don't care if we update or not, but that's no incentive at all. It's currently there. Mocking me. Driving me to expand and meet them all! (and hopefully take their stuff)
About 2 hours remaining. Will you make it Mr. Cairo and Jowy?

Miguelito informed me about a bug. Some may remember that in a past version I wrote combat information from all players into the log and that way you get combat information from other players. I fixed that in the past, but I missed some combat entries, which are generated in a different file. Those generate the text message with the combat odds. The problem only occurs during MP games and I can't reproduce the behaviour in SP, but I was able to fix it.
At the same time I wanted to ask if the information in the 'Combat Log' is showing up correct or if you are missing some informations there?
