Charriu, I appreciate the desire to fix things but these huge pitbeasts are fragile things; I think accidentally getting someone else's combat logs and hearing that some rando went around the world is less of a threat than...this.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. This is rb after all where PBs get abandoned over a turn order dispute.
For what it's worth. I've contacted Donovan in a PM

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Hey gang, turn has rolled,. So sorry for the delay and for not posting here. I thought I'd have it fixed sooner but did take some solace in he additional clock time.
The problem started (presumably) with me uninstalling Gamespy from my PC a week ago since it was always delaying my computer startup. This was fine for a few turns but I was unable to get the mod install link to work in game. Rather than figure out how to re-integrate GameSpy back into my desktop version (probably a full reload), I took the path of least resistance and purchased the Civ4 suite on Steam today and added the Direct IP beta. Please accept my $30 Steam purchase as penance. I may still have to set up my Steam version for anti-block and will try to do so ASAP. Once again, sorry for the trouble!
Just another little reminder, in 4 days ill be gone for about 48hrs or so on a trip. I can play my turn if its available Saturday night, but ill need a lurker to play for me till i get back on Tuesday May 4th. Ill try and leave some various instructions hopefully nothing too complicated.
