Caster of Magic II Bug Reports!

Sound is played by a mediaplayer component. If it plays too slowly, I can't do much about that. I just tell it to play this or that wav file and that's all, expecting it takes the same amount of time to play on every system. It shouldn't be possible for the animation to play faster than normal either.

The original cheat codes were never implemented. The debug functionality has the same effects plus more so it would be redundant. You can toggle debug mode by Ctrl+Shift+S on the Wizards screen. It displays the available keys on the main menu screen.

Gnoll race description mentions +1 resistance, but they don’t (and i think do not intend to have it).

Which place is the place which I should report bug and error?

I get crash to desktop once during quick save and reload click but I could not recreate such error so I don't send my save to analyze as save was not corrupted.

I have noticed that summon scene by Sharee has small strip of green bar at that top left corner over Sharee (UI location mismatch/size?)

Also, I use Gaia's Blessing in area with volcano but it does not increase chance for volcano to change into hill. Volcano that I raised myself in tundra near city does not turn into verdant hill at all.

And last thing, I my playthrough, out of 14 wizards, there are 6 wizards with substantial chaos books and now 3 of them (including me) casting Armageddon already, What would be end result of several caster using Armmageddon? And how would root of genesis (which also in my spellbook but yet to research it) play role after this?

Gnoll:       +2 attack +1move +1 resistance
Klackon:   +2 def
Lizard:      Waterwalk, +1 health -1 res
Orc:         Nothing
Nomad:    +3 freaking resistance! Units have bows
Halfling:    lucky, weak and limited military
High men: Very low resistance(?)
High elf:    Forester, +10% hit, +1 resistance.

Dark elf:    High resistance(?) Ranged magical attack.
Beastmen: +1 health +1 attack
Draconian: Flying, breath attack, good resistance(?)
Troll:         Regeneration, fewer figures, higher attack and life, expensive.
Dwarf:       High resistance(?) +1 health

Things that differ from the "Pick race" screen and the swordmen in game:
Barbarian: Have -1 resist?
Gnoll: Is missing its +1 resist?
Dark elf: Have scouting two?
Draconian: Have +1 shield?
Troll: +1 res that is not mentioned?
Dwarf: Have Mountaineer that is not mentioned.

Other things that it is not clear on:
Halflings: "limited military" means that their units are 44% more expensive? "Weak" means -1 attack? But they also have more units in a group?
Troll: "expensive" means that their units are 60% more expensive.

On some races it says what resistance the race actually have and on some races it just says "high/low"?
High men: "Very low resistance" is a -2 resist.
Dark elf: "High resistance" is a +2 resist.
Draconian: "Good resistance" is a +1 resist.
Dwarf: "High resistance" is a +2 resist.

At bit inconsistent with "very low", "good" and "high" resistance and on other races it specifies with "-1", "+1" or "+3".

I am not in any way saying that everything have to be spelled out on the "race select" screen. Just stating what it says and what it dosn't. smile

Was restarting 15 times to get all the screenshots from the swordsmen.. One time the game crashed when selecting "Flag" (Color). No obvious reason..
Had selected Sss'ra. Selected "Purple".. Had program "Paint" open in the background.. Tried again.. Picked purple again and the game crashed again..
Tried "purple" two more times, no crash. Tried "pink" and it crashed. Tried "pink" again and it crashed (Draconian race each time). Tried two more times and started fine. Tried again and crashed again. Tried around 20 times, crashed 70% of the time. Both window and full screen..

Tried x 10 to start Sss'ra, troll, pink.. Window mode, crashed 1 out of 10 times.
Sss'ra pink dwarfs crash arfter second try, fullscreen.
Sss'ra red draconians crash arfter fifth try, fullscreen.
Tried Jafar (custom, with same books and Myrran as Sss'ra) Draconian and pink, crashed arfter second try, fullscreen.
Jafar pink orcs! x 10 on Arcanus not a single crash.
Sss'ra pink orcs on Myrran crash on first try, fullscreen. (Tried 3 times, crashed two)
Sss'ra blue orcs on Myrran crash on second try, fullscreen.
Looks like Myrran is crashing quite a bit. Different characters, different colors. But Myrran start is crashing quite a bit.

You can add the original sprites separately and the texture packer file for people to create the texture sheet for use in game. It could be zipped to save space as it's not needed in game, although the art filesizes are quite small really.

The sound files are large, you could convert them to mp3s and they would take up a lot less space. The largest music file is 18mb and that goes down to 3mb as an mp3.

Unfortunately, that would require writing a player for them. We've tried all the easy solutions, they didn't work. They were converted from XMIDI for the same reason (which were actually considerably smaller than the .mp3's).

Oh, the ingame help for Gnolls, thanks, fixed.
Also fixed Gaea's Blessing nor converting some tiles.

Pink Draconians : Seems to be a world generator problem.
Will be fixed in the next update by setting the world generator to abort if the number of tiles cannot be increased in a very large amount of attempts because all valid "continent locations" would connect into a continent larger than allowed. 

Sorry, but I I would need to write an engine for loading from packed files to use them so it's unlikely to happen any time soon.
