This thread will host some explanatory images of the BUG features, both standard BUG and the new features I've implemented. I will keep it closed, because I want this to be a simple lexica of the features and there will be more in the future. I won't explain every feature in detail because most of the time the hover effect in-game in the BUG menu does a decent job. The main problem that I see is that sometimes you see a feature you don't like and want to disable or sometimes you find a feature in the BUG menu but don't know where to look for it. In these cases the images should help.

You can open the dotmapping tool with ALT+X and hide/show the dotmap with CTRL+X
This picture shows the CityTiles feature. Here is the color coding:
White = Worked tile, improved
Red = Worked tile, can be improved
Red = Worked tile with resource, can be improved
Yellow = Worked tile, can't be improved with current tech level
Green = Not Worked tile, improved
Dark Cyan = Not Worked tile, can be improved
Light Cyan = Not Worked tile with resource, can be improved
Black = Not Worked tile, can't be improved with current tech level
After looking at this feature a bit closer there still seem to be some bugs and two tiles really do have the same color. Will need some more work.

This feature was requested by Cornflakes. It shows the amount of beakers in the last tick.
The known tech owners feature was requested by The Black Sword. The number tells you how many players that you have met do own this tech. This is no new information. Rather it's information already available through C&D trickery.

The grid can be turned off via the Turns and Score buttons and the scaling of the grid is controlled via the Scaling dropdown. If you are tired of disabling the grid you can turn it off via the BUG menu option.

The combat log information is now available outside of the game. You will find it here:
[....]\Documents\My Games\Beyond the Sword
It's called Combat.log.
As you can see the order is reversed. Very important to know is that this Combat.log is reset everytime you start a new game, so be aware. This was necessary because otherwise the file just grows to big.
You can also find my tracking file at the same location called:
CtHBalance.log
It tracks data for singleplayer games or if you are the pitboss host. I don't expect you to understand the information in there and it was only mentioned for transparency.

With the information from the espionage screen you can calculate if your enemies can see your demos, research etc. But in BUG you can enable this option above which does the same for you via additional icons in the espionage screen.

Disclaimer. This will be in future versions of CtH. It's only provided now as a teaser and so that I don't forget to explain it.
Locking specialists
You will find new circle-shaped buttons in the city screen. Pressing and activating this button stops the governor from assigning these specialists. As you can see you can set these locks up before you can assign specialists, so that you can disable those pesky spy specialists immediately. These buttons are only provided with the 'default' and 'Chevron' view for the specialists, because with 'Stacked' I did not know how to present it.
Also the lock is only for the AI governor. You as a player can still assign specialist even when they are locked.
