[PB60] GKC makes detailed reports again

Overview shot. Rome is building a settler, getting a chop into it shortly. Settler will settle on that plains hill to grab floodplains, crab, wheat. Creative is great. Antium is working on a workboat which will go north eventually. After this workboat, it starts on a settler, which will go towards the horse/cow/fish site.

Very few choices to make when dotmapping because I am creative, which clearly turned out to be the right option with all the ocean fish. Still need to figure out if I want one or two cities on the island next to the capital. I think once I get a few more settlers out, I should be able to compensate for my starting mistake with creative.
Tech path is sailing -> writing -> IW -> PRAET SPAM

Demos - I've basically caught up in mfg/crop, but gnp is horrible. Getting monarchy is absolutely necessary, otherwise this game is lost. I even think that going math was a mistake, should've rushed herd rule.

Never mind that, the plan is a pillage economy. I have two galleys, and I have praets coming out.

This jungle area will soon be contested, and it would be nice to grab the gems...

Civac was quick to the point, and defended his city. If I land 4 praets, I could take it - but should I?

There's MJMD to the north who seems juicier.

My goal is to pillage jowy to get to monarchy.

Units moving south, a few more on the way.

I'll test the waters with one galley. If there are too many units, I retreat.

A mega-cheese would be to bring a settler and faceplant jowy right after the war ends.

I misclicked two turns ago and moved *BOTH* galleys towards his city. Lost both as a result. I have 7 praets in the south converging on Jowy's gems, so hopefully I can take those and sue for peace. If not, I plant to settle gems to the north anyway. Relations with MJMD are good, so hopefully he sees me taking his suggestion favorably and doesn't punish a gems grab.

The one thing I am worried about is civac, who managed to snipe the island city from me.

I don't really expect to be a major force in this game, stuck between a rock and a hard place with too inefficient of a start and pitiful happy cap.

Knocked out Jowy's gems city, loss of 0 units (but will lose praet next turn).

Offered peace as Jowy's power has spiked, but at least I can tech to monarchy relatively soon.

I was warned of an attack last turn by vanrober, got some luxuries. If I can get like 3 turns to prep I would be happy.

Sorry about the backstab. I was worried Jowy would just roll you and would be unstoppable otherwise though. You ended up putting up a really good defense though, which I think made the difference between Jowy winning and Amica winning.
