TBS continues to lose basically none of his fights. Winning low odds battles, and every single 60-70% fight. Ive retreated 2 archers and a spear from Incense city, to make a stand at StoneCity. Of course, TBS has blown thru my defenses faster than i anticipated... i was 1 turn away from popping culture in IncenseCity + walls..
Sigh. At least i got the kill.

Forever War. Yay!
Making TBS freakout about a galley (i hope)
He has 2 total catapults in theater right now. Ill have 5+ before he can get any more to StoneCity. Should be holdable.....
Galley of course drops off an axe + WE because why wouldnt he have the best counter to what i can bring available. My c1Shock chariot and fresh archer will probably lose both of their fights, and im sure he loaded that galley up with 2 more units making that rescue galley with a c1+promo HA useless. God damnit.
I can only hope this level of power is limiting his research.

Im betting he will attack on t128
that will let him bring StoneCity's defenses down from 38% to 18%. I believe he will attack at that point. My plan, other than stuffing the city.. is to road the banana tile, stack the cats/ha's/WE's and hit him. Next turn my workers will be with my cats/ha's, turn after they can move to the banana. I plan on moving the rest of the units to the banana that same turn. The reason for this vs the tile my axe is currently on, is because he can easily see that tile if he moves any unit SW of Stonecity. I..... will have to check if it matters cuz he might have a sentry unit that i have missed but i dont believe ive seen anything but c2 units from him. If he waits longer than t128, i will have enough cats/units to hopefully wipe him outta my lands and possibly start pushing. Depends on if Commodore left any instructions that say "hey, quit pussying around, and GET IN THERE" All of his power is here. Cant have more than a token defense on the other side.
Also love him continuing to go after my islands, vs Commodore's that is to the south.... So he will take Horseisland from me, and then he will be overwhelmed with all the triremes from every island city i have left just whipping triremes. THIS is what u get for not just finishing off Commodore, and making this a 1v1 instead of 2v1 (v tarkeel who will probably not do anything, or will hand TBS the win when he backstabs me)
Yes, im more than slightly bitter about this. Only the 2nd? time or so ive been able to conquer someone without an amazing dedlurker to help (OH) and its a bittersweet conquest.. i dont see this being the right move for TBS. Yeah, you dont really want me to consolidate all of that land, but if you had the production/whipping power to knock BOTH me and commodore back, you could have wiped Commodore off the map, and then raced me to tarkeel? Maybe? Idk, just a feeling of "no one wins on this blob".. will be curious to see his way of thinking after whatever german wins.

Visual of the main combat area.
Easier to read units in combat area minus a couple quecha/archers.

I opened todays turn to see a peace treaty offer from TBS. I dont think he realizes just how laughably funny that is.
Closed outta that real quick, and saw that he is trying to cover his retreat. I brought up my 2 workers and moved everything forward. ill be able to cripple any 1 stack he moves. His best option is probably to move either NW (best) or SW and put his WE's and an axe or two on the flat ground to make me waste some units before breaking thru and using my cats. IDEALLY, he moves everything into 1 spot and i slam my cats and everything i can muster into it.
This graph should show the level of fucks i give for my civ's population.
I finally get some great combat(s) Trireme of justice!

TBS is just too good! I declared war on him to attack his empty island cities and magically he had 2 fresh units every turn, so was unable to do anything. I pretty much focused on growth from the start and he was able to keep up with my city numbers, be more advanced in research and fight a war with commodore the whole game, and having spare time to build wonders. idk how it's possible. Just crazy. I'll read his thread next. Also well done on having me decieved , at first I knew you'd attack me but after open borders and saying you'll go for tarkeel, I fully believed I was safe haha. Definitely learnt some things.
Also entertaining thread!

Any questions? Im going to try and take back some island holdings because i whipped 53 triremes and gotta put them to good use. After that, im going to use many cat/WE stacks to hopefully take small skirmishes/cities from TBS while our massive stacks continue to look at each other till one of us gets Engineering randomly and surprises the other. (i assume it will be him as i am going for Fued so that i can turtle if Tarkeel decides he wants TBS to win our island)
