Tomorrow (August 1) I'll be out of pocket for about 8 hours starting early morning US Time. I don't think that'll be a problem, since I suspect that'll be the latter half of turn 144, but I mention it in case a turn rolls that morning, and I'm can't get to it immediately.

Well, as far as I can tell it is not connected to Optics. I got the messages before having researched optics which mislead me to research it. Now I don't get the bonus but I am still getting the messages. Probably because I didn't circumnavigated the map but thought the game was more accurate than my eyes.

I think it throws the message every time a player finishes Optics

I will be travelling next week on the 10th, 13th and 14th. Especially on the 14th I won't have internet access for a longer time (12 hours). I should still be able to get my turn except if you force me into weird multi-splitted wars.

Hey all, I am going to start paying the turns for TBS as of today, but am just going in right now to check out the save. It looks like TBS is thankfully going to stay on to advise and provide any insights, but my playing of the turns should help free up his time and commitments a bit.
I'll let you know if I need any extra time this turn, but I should have a good grasp of everything within the next couple days. Relief is on the way!
