Last turn for mids, which is nice, int he worst case it will be a coinflip. Although im pretty sure noone else went for it, thats why i didnt whip them.
Now i need to keep the expansion of the crazy IMP guys, like Amicalola that on this turn settled his 8th city. Which is crazy speed. I really hope they get into bankrupcy.
Right now i feel i need to whip settlers into workers at crazy speed. I doubt ill go the war route since Bing and rekenner just did peace. I gues they saw bellarch and jack getting all their land and wanted to start improving land. Its late, so ill make advantage of that, but im not sure if this early, or it would be better some time after. With rep ill have a much larger happy cap and il ltry to put 2 cities into scientist asap to help the teching, although i keep being the first on GNP.

I would want to make a good report for this turn, now at home, but then i felt liek i couldnt say much. So please ask in case you wonder anything.
First of all I got Mids!!!!! Revolted into Rep right the way to get a bit more Happy for the comming whips. In 2 turns i ll whip 2 settlers.
Bellarch seems to use the strategy of Amica and I on PB60, i wonder if he read that game. Revolted into Jud last turna dn revolted on OR this turn. We did when we had 3 settlers already going to be settled, not sure if thats what he did, since he got to 7 cities a few turns ago. So he might have lost 2 turns of 7 cities for free? not sure.
I am still wondering if atack soon, after settling crazy speed by whiping. The centre of the land is not really good for me, since the closest food resource is a jungled banana that i cant even farm, im sad that jack, Amica and bellarch could make cities grabing another happy with a nice farmeable resource. I know those are supposed to be Bings, but having a real food kind of makes people risk for settling as pink dot. I have not such a spot so i think the war makes sense. But then, if im whiping settlers i ll have less power of whips to get an actual army, so i need to figure out how to make it work. Having courthouses would be king for making the atack profitable goldwise.
Amica has 9 pop already on his capitol thanks to the gems and being CHA. I guess he is working several cottages to get some gold and not getting into bankrupcy. In the centre of the map he has some Sugar too, that i dont remember if he can farm, so im not really sure if he is getting those spots fast either.
This is the overview of the empire, making some WB now one will explore the coast and the other one is meant to go to the double fish spot. That city will be such a farm of GG, although its pretty slow, ill need 15 turns for a granary and some more for a lighthouse before it goes crazy speed. I would like to get a library to work scientist too, but again the lack of production will be significant. Maybe going into caste once i whiped this round of settlers? I would still need whiping for the army... Violet will make another settler next turn on 4 pop with the sheep online
Demos hasnt change at all
Also i forgot to say that im so dmn unluky this game, Jesse got 2 free spreads of my religion while my cities are closer and i have none.

I find that a good use of bananas is settling on them, it gives 3f to the city.

IT seems im the only one reporting with jack. Its sad, i was so excited seeing everyone writting on their threads to learn after game.
Its impressive that Amica and Bellarch are making a city per turn, fuck imp xD Im leaning towards the atack, rekenner has no graphs on me so he wont know if im building or not. The problem is that he has skirmishers which are so dm fucking strong, 25h for 6 strenght defensive unit, even more if settled on hill. So he can do 2 skirmishers for every HA i do and also i need 2HA to kill 1 skirmish, which seems like an impossible atack. My hope is that he feels lacking expansion and he go crazy with settlers and workers while i build up the army, and hoopefully the has not much time of response. Still im wondering what to do, right now, without any more pinkdots i can have peacefully 11 cities. Which is a lot i think, but i dont know if getting those cities online before the atack or use those as fillers later on. I need to keep thinking at that.
I thought getting saioling would conect me and amica, since we were conected already. But it seems we didnt, maybe i need another turn? i doubt it. So i guess ill need to make a path with my WB... i thought i didnt need since he already did, am i wrong?
Next turn ill whip 4 cities and will start working cottages to grow faster the cities and get prepaired for the mass whiping. Althought i m not sure when to do the build up, like if settlign the 11 cities and then atack or atack and then expand. Not sure.
Also, settled Heather.
Demos are pretty much the same, really far on food, since Amica and Bellarch are settling faster, but i kind of like my possition.

It might be really hard to make the atack as i was thinking. Looking at his land he has an absurd amount of Skirmishers, and he has still unconnected the copper. Which is weird.
I would need an absurd amount of units to deal with 10 skirmishers on a hill. Maybe jsut need cats? So maybe i move towards that.
On the micro im really happy to show you another 2 great pictures
My plan for the temple is working a priest so that my economy can be based on shrines too and i feel less the need of cottages while building up infrastructure. Violet is a really brown city so working coast will be nice. I still need to expand religion since im being really unlucky with free spreads, i had non yet. So maybe i go monotheism next.
The tech path is really unknown for me yet, i need mono, HBR and construction at least but not sure which order, im leaning towards rex and atack now.
I still have not TR with AMicalola, 3 turns after getting sailing, can anyone help? Im sending an axe towards the silvers to see if unfoging some tiles it work... Another WB is being sent towards rekenner just in case i cant get TR with Amica for anyreason, he has taken 12 gold per turn out of my crapy decision, and i still have none. Im really sad

Discovered some more tiles and still no money, so i canceled open border with josh, it will hurt him since it was 12 gpt what i was giving. Not real sicne he would have 6, but yeah a good amount of gold, next turn im settling 2 cities so it would be 8 gpt.
Ill send some OB in a few turns when i can get profit... I dont really understand how he gets it and i dont since he revealed the coast for me... or at least i thought that.
Now im working so many cottages and not mines that my production falled hard. Got the graphs of jack, and they are pretty close to mines when he has more cities, which sounds really nice. Right now Josh and Bellarch seems to be leading the game, and i would like to be in 3rd possition, although it would be contested with Jack, since he got gold and gems... As amica.
Rekenner has not settled the corn of his north and im wondering if i could still it from him. It would be really hard to defend though. Lets see what he want to do.

I haven't tested this to be sure, but I believe your speculation from up-thread is correct: When you have open borders and a coastal connection, each side will get trade routes when that side has Sailing and has explored the coastal connection between their civs. So if your boats meet in neutral waters but never reach each other's borders, or uf your scouts meet while exploring inland and never reveal the coast, then neither of you will get the other's trade routes; if you explore the coast and reveal one of their cities that way, you will get trade routes with them, but they won't get trade routes with you until they do the same (and vice-versa).
[EDIT: As long as either one of you has explored the route (I don't remember if it works in the case of boats meeting and turning around so you have the connection between you but neither has it alone) between cities that are connected to your respective capitals, you can trade resources - but not until then. This might be what you remembered when you thought his defogging the path was good enough.]
