Thanks!

How could you! Now these poor children are orphans, because you destroyed their parents.

Navy battle soon.
Also, big sad that he has been winning a couple low odds fights and his ships stay in port. He should have lost at least one of those.. He is starting to build swords out of one of his high production cities.. So i guess galleys with swords is his gameplan? Guess i pump enough caravels that he cant gain control of the seas.

Amica deserves this win, whether it takes the others 5t or 50t to realize it... is beyond me.

Was trying to make a "daring" fake attack with a ton of my galleys, and completely forgot that the way this map is setup... you HAVE to control the middle/border island in order to send galleys thru. So, Yay... also Amica has FRIGATES. . . .

Yeeted my caravel stack into some frigates because they are so unbelievably outclassed at this stage and amica has the game won, and only waiting on others to realize this. I would also move my main elephant/cat stack to try and do some last-ditch damage but im worried that Mjmd (who took peace with Amica... lol) will stab me and try and take some cities from me which i cant allow.
ALSO, because he sent what i suppose is an offer to join against amica in 7t with knights? Sigh.

I don't think you choose the wrong civ/leader for the tiles / player we were given, it was just a deceptive number for the shape of the map. The shape of the map also meant it was super likely we were going to be enemies from T0. The aggressive plant was a reflection of this thinking.
I also love how you never mentioned the 9% warrior odds you took of razing an early city (I realized later I could have moved differently but ah well). That certainly wouldn't make Mjmd think you're an enemy at all
I also somewhat understand not stabbing Amica if you thought you could make gains vs me. Where I fail in understanding is why after it was clear you couldn't make gains you didn't abandon Beds and make peace so we could at least threaten Amica's flank and slow or stop conquest of Lazteuq? The key points in this game to me were 1) Jowy's slower than expected conquest of GKC 2) Lazteuqs more rapid than expected collapse 3) related you warring me so we couldn't stop said collapse. I also find it funny because the only reason I had any units up there at all is because I was going to try to raze the Amica border city when you attacked, otherwise you probably would have made more gains.
I also was wondering the turn you moved out of Beds and sent a peace treaty did you know that was the turn my culture was expanding? If so, why you didn't A) fully abondon or at least B) move your stack to any tile but 1E where I could also hit it if I retook city. I have to admit to taking a bit of revenge for the raze of my capital here instead of thinking about the long term game.

I'm super confused. A few posts before this you mentioned that you were planning on attacking us, but then here it sounds like you weren't going to. Were you planning to actually attack us before we took the island? We definitely thought you were. Also, I was curious why you did end up making peace with us? We thought you were going to dogpile us with Laz.
I do agree that the map was pretty tough for a pick like yours. The contested areas were good and worth fighting over, but it was also true that even the contested areas favoured different players to some extent, so it was hard to fight for them early without over-reaching. GG, and congrats on the insane James-Bond capital raze!

the 9% chance was just me "hoping" i could hurt you enough that i could maybe get more land. Also because it sounded fun at the time lol.
When i sent you that peace treaty and abandoned the city, and then you obliterated my stack.. even though i had pointed at Amica via the diplo window? That is when Amica had the game on lock. You killed everything i had, for no chance to go further, imo. I moved only a little bit to try and signal that i KNEW you could hit it, but wanted to show that we could move immediately into Amica land.
