Is there any interest in a new CloseToHome PitBoss? I'm thinking of something not too big, 6-8ish players and 100- 130 160-ish tiles per player.
Edit: I'm fine with playing up 160 tpp. For reference, PB60+61 is about 130 tpp, PB58 was 215 tpp with effective tiles closer to 160.
CtH Version 2.0.6 (as per Charriu's request)

I was wondering when the next pops up. And no this is not a signup.
Could I ask you to play the newest version of CtH, which I still have to release. It will have the specialist locking for you and the production tracking for me.

I will sign up as the 8th player. I feel 8-12 is the ideal number. ALSO, whomever creates the map... please more Blob, less "pre-defined area".. Thanks.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I'm both new and green, but if that's fine with everyone I'm interested! I've been lurking PB61 for a while and I'm itching to give it a shot myself. I've mostly done single player (LAN in the mid 2000s doesn't really count as multiplayer experience ) and I'm not a particularly strong player - emperor is kicking my butt right now - but if that won't drag down the game quality too much I'll take my knocks and see what I can learn.
I'm not super familiar with CtH, and I'm a little scared of the 95(!) page thread, is there an up to date diff between BtS and CtH somewhere?

Welcome Fabled. Current version of mod has the current changes at the top although I know Charriu plans on coming out with a slightly different version

CtH was designed to "Close to Home" with the goal of hopefully being accessible and easy to understand for people wanting to try out multiplayer while still fixing out of balances.
We'll find you a ded lurker (dedicated lurker to help out) as well. Questions let us know.

Good to have you Fabled! Bing isn't the most experienced player either, so if this turns into a semi-green game (with enough players) I'll probably step out and make the map instead. We'll see how it goes.

I don't think there is anyway your prying SD out of a new pitboss now that he's signed up , so your probably fine Tarkeel. As long as the newer players have ded lurkers and know they have long odds. Amica and Civac did well in PB55 despite being newer and being against much more experienced players. But up to you. Heck if we get enough could split it up too.
