[PB62] Organizing and tech thread

Oh you put vassal for vote. Note that there are some hidden or not often spoken changes to vassals in the mod.

- No colony maintenance. Essentially if don't vassal anybody your maintenance won't be affected by this option
- Humans can be vassalized by humans

Also for consideration, but this is base game behavior. When you run Mercantalism you can still have foreign trade routes between master and vassals

I was aware that you'd changed it to be a possibility, which is why I added it up for voting. It's nice to have a summary of the effects though smile

Probably tomorrow.

Fine waiting a few more days as well.

Heh you work on getting a 7th person, I'll work on spreadsheet.

Honestly I didn't expect PB59 to roll again last night. AND I had a double turn to play in PB60. AND I had a cereal / liquor run to do.......

What's the reasoning behind no spies? I don't want to fight back against the rules, but I am curious.
Games: PB62, PB63

Personally, I don't find them fun and interesting. The main thing I have against them is that there's really no good way to defend against them other than luck. Just about every other form of vision can be calculated or extrapolated, but not spies.

Voting spreadsheet out there link below. See I finished before y'all found an 8th player.

Made per Tarkeel specifications. Some new stuff on this one.
Like:
Voting for city in peace treaty
Just default saying no spies (ah the advantages of organizing the thread)

Don't like:
Map exploration: didn't even know you could play revealed. I love exploring maps!
Vassals: seems weird without making it full diplo, but maybe I'm missing something

Random Mjmd story related to cereal and liquor:

I have 3 kids and my wife instead of going shopping just whenever we need to, has started trying to do all in one trip (for unknown reasons). This has led to her occasionally forgetting stuff like cereal for me. Now for the record I also do some of the grocery shopping, but usually more of the smaller trips to a different closer store often with a couple of kids in tow to help get them out of the house for a bit. That store also has a better produce section making it a good candidate for more frequent smaller lists.

Anyways, the store I buy liquor at twice a year (ish) is also the same store that has the large cheaper family size cereal. Its also the store we go to for large lists. IE the one I never go to with kids. But because wife forgot cereal I actually went to and got the one other item usually just I get. IE liquor.

This came up while organizing 58; I much prefer exploring as well, but playing with revealed maps does offer some interesting options.

The way I see it, it's a way to publically concede in-game. Even if the option is on, I'm not sure if it will change anything big, but I know Charriu put the work in to make it an option, so why not?
