I just worry he won't take peace and instead just run home with his knights. He only offered peace because his knights are vulnerable.

Yes but if we leave the knights alive (maybe post pikes next to them to make clear that it was by choice?) and return the same offer, I think it would be quite dishonourable for him to not take it. Would you expect him to do that?

also civac seems to be out to get us. He hasn't moved ships yet, but has not returned fish/fish, and has started to spend EP on us (a lot, because he has Ziggurats in all his cities). Meaning we really can't fight Charriu on top right now. We've lost the graphs, but we're third in power now, meaning that he has overtaken us most probably. He also researched steel. Damnit I don't look forward to this. Looks like a slavery GA. And really, this is a fight for survival.

Alright, take the peace treaty then.

Charriu took peace and instead took (or razed?) an island city from Mjmd lol . Should I offer OB to our new ally, so his knights can heal? crazyeye

Cairo is now tearing through naufragar, taking 4 or 5 cities in one turn. Amica so far has been content to just watch it go down.

Also I screwed up with the peace deal - general lurkers, would it be ok to send the following PM?
Quote:Hello Charriu,
I just had a look into the turn and noticed that 300 gold more were missing on top of what I had offered for peace.
I fear I sent the peace deal twice. Is ist possible that you got two diplo windows, one with peace for 300 gold, then the next just 300 gold tribute? I remember a bug where offers that had been made invalid were just removed from the deal window, but the rest stayed. It was not my intention to gift 300 gold. I would appreciate if you returned it, in the spirit of fair play.
Best wishes

That's excellent news, and I think that PM is OK. It was an interface error.

And perfectly in line with his chaotic neutral nature. wink

I guess we keep CJ now?

I would surely like to. We may have to wait a couple turns yet. It has 7 defenders this turn. Next turn we could have like 17 attackers but it still feels dicey. In 3 turns 2 cannons could attack, or bombard. It is possible that by then the revolt would last until the end of or treaty, but anyways, we're starting a wonderful friendship with Charriu flower ... and going to bring rifles

Yeah, we can wait. Just make sure we're safe from civac now and things are looking good.

Economical infrastructure other than the most important ones should wait. Units are more important. By the time they pay back our game will be more influenced by whether we can take (and hold) possessions.
