"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Well I don't know what to say after that. It perhaps could have been better to settle north first, but a random barb could have appeared there too. Just unlucky.
Just curious. Did the city ever grow to pop 2? Aka does my change work that prevents barbs from autorazing? If yes it means you can also recapture the city without it being autorazed.

Looks like Civac beat you to the important spot in the west. Expansion would have been too slow even without the barb incident. The silver/horses city should have been settled later.

Before i played the turn. After i played the turn. They sent 2 peace offers. I woke up and chose violence today, as they have chosen it as well. Round of axes/chariots from each city before consolidating to tech to praets and slow-tech to Currency while Civac/Tarkeel feel my pain. I have no regrets except signing up for this awful map. Forgot how much fun being AGG/CHA is. Southern axe is C2/shock with a pending promotion.. Waiting to see what they do before i need to choose.
