The capital is safe? Very weird to attack you when they just gained a bunch of land. I guess it is to kill you before Praets.

I actually approve of your choice of violence here. Go out there and prove that they made the wrong choice attacking you.

Id assume so. But being 5 cities to 2, because Barb Luck... along with their traits vs mine.. They should hit Knights before i get any solid praet force. NOW..... im just pissed off and will be forever-warring them cuz im Booty-ca of Rome. Grats Naufragar on your win. Calling it now.

3 cities all at size 1. Im surrounded by BOTH conquerors. (Havent met Naufragar, but based on tech thread timing i have to assume) Barbs are having no issues making more and more warriors and probably more archers soon if not spears/axes.

Ill update with a picture or 2 next turn, apparently forgot to do so this turn. Barb presence is gone and hopefully elsewhere. Im basically making decisions right now on whether i want to punish Tarkeel for his declaration of war, or let him win and attack Naufragar. Im leaning heavily towards Tarkeel. Also, whether it will be with axes/chariots or if i save up and get praets. Its sooo much fun playing this map i just might cry.

Barbs + awful land to expand into that isnt directly into neighbors (that both got ate BTW).... Naufragar hasnt officially met me yet, but i bring much presents for him.


Basic plan is to capture ex-Bing's capital with chariots. If he has alot of defenders for some reason, ill have to either peace out or shove axes in his face as well. Then i finish teching IW and build a doom stack of praets and go say hello to captain Tarkeel/Civac to my west. Not much else to do this game then give the other players a fighting fucking chance on this god-awful map.

Took 2 chariots, but i got the spear down to manageable levels and finished it off with another chariot. (Flawless win ) So, im confident i can take the city in the next 2-3t. Im just wanting this city so i can have enough production to hit Civac with Praets Naufragar!! Let me DO ITTT.

Slowly teching to IW. More barbs appear. Had to the northern chariot to kill a barb archer, and a barb axe that was NW of its current position decided to go for my capital which is 1tile FARTHER than Civacs city. Barbs are straight up not for serious games. Luckily this map isnt a serious map so it kinda fits? Dont know where Civac would fit 9 fucking cities even between 2 civs worth of land, but luckily they didnt get screwed by barbs and got to eat a newbie.

Anyone that doesnt call the game now is sadistic. My only hope was to capture Bing's old capital but Naufragar apparently had PLENTY of extra military around to reinforce WITHOUT WHIPPING HIS GOD DAMN CITY. Thats absurd.

Make it a mod Charriu, Player controlled barbs vs players in a PB. Id play it EVERY SINGLE TIME (as the barbs)
