Yup. Click on your name in the upper right corner to go to your User Control Panel. On the left side there, click "Edit Options." There you can change the number of posts per page.

We have been talking on discord about the civ and leader we wanted. We need hunting and AH as food resources, since the clam is just 4 food and needs a WB to be builded that i think its not really worth building anytime soon.
And of course the other tech needed, as always is BW. the most expensive tech are Mining and wheel in order to road towards the copper (somehow, and for a reason i cant still understand- notice the sarcasm- Bing does want to get hooked early the copper) So Mali fits. Also another combo that kind of leave us in a close possition is having wheel hunting, its slightly cheaper hunting than mining but Mongols is a nice Civ thanks to his GER and Keshiks. We were thinking on picking some ORG-CHA leader with that. We are a bit afraid of bankrucying on early without an eco trait (well i might be a bit too much convincing on this to Bing, i am really scared of bankrupcying on early) Otherwise maybe trying again cyrus could make sense.
We finally decided for Mali since its a bit better on tech and having CRE will let us skip mist for a while allowing us to get to Currency faster. We felt (or at least I did) that this combo was more noobfriendly while still useful.
We also thought about some PRO skirmishers and other stuff, like IND for the UB but you know, we felt this was the best option for us.

Im amazed with ginger. Playing Gandhi!!!! I would be terrified in my first PB to play that invitation for conquest. Not only that, he is playing Gandhi of Rome WTF!!!
I really hope he keeps reporting much during the game, i really want to read how to play SPI.
If it happens that cornflakes (one of the best if not the best) players of the game with Boudica (CHA-AGR) of egypt is close to him, i wonder what will happen.
Im glad we picked Mali in case we have to face warchariots. Spears are nice but skirmishers should be able to defend good enough.

ORG-CRE Mali is a nice comfy pick, possibly more Vanrober's style than mine - but after the dumpsterfires of PB61 and PB62, I am more than happy to go for some "rex" gameplay.
I can try to be a warhawk once i'm more experienced
How do I embolden the thread title?
I am really looking forward to the sheer ease of use of Skirmishers, the traits, and all those saved hammers on buildings.

Threads in bold mean you haven't read them. Not sure how you can set something to "unread."

Lets talk a bit about the people and combos we are facing in this game.
Fabled: Mehmed II (ORG/EXP) of Ottomans
He is a new guy with not much luck in PB62, i think he learnt the lesson and will learn a lot with Amica. I dont see them as a huge threat, it would be nice to neighbour them. Their combo is kind of lets rex a bit with exp to get fast granaries and whip tons while saving gold with ORG. Sounds good.
Cornflakes: Boudicca (AGG/CHA) of Egypt
This is one of the best if not the best one of the players with a full warmonger wombo. I really beg we are not his food.
JackRB: Victoria (FIN/IMP) of Vikings
Solid composition, Jack did play a nice game in PB61 although didnt listen to my warnings xD. He did expand well and had a good tech ratio. And his pick seems to fit in his playing stile, having Rusten as dedlurker (if he is active) will be a huge bonnus for him. I dont see him winning but he will be in a good possition for sure.
Mjmd: Napoleon (ORG/CHA) of Sumeria
Interesting pick here, i guess he want to try ORg zigurats. Whiping a ton with CHA, i wouldnt liek to neighbour him because it seems im unable to understand him xD
Ginger: Gandhi (SPI/PHI) of Rome
This is a really nice player although we dont know him much, he might be the underdog and will surprise 100%, he is already getting a lot of lurker atention and have been playing small multiplayer games with people of the GKC's discord. He never played with this amount of time per turn thought but i really spect him to be better than me. ANd we will see if better than Cornflakes/pindi.
Mr. Cairo: Suryavarman (EXP/CRE) of China
Another experimented guy, known to be kind of passive and a huge defender. HE took a really nice early game combo, to rex save and harras the coast with chokonus.
Superdeath: Augustus (IND/IMP) of Maya
The erratic agresive player with a expansion builder learder and meh civ.
Pindicator: San Martin (CHA/CRE) of Greece
One of the best players with cornflakes if not the best. With a new combo, that im really interested to see if it works.
Bing: Zara Yaqob (ORG/CRE) of Mali
I hope we can have some fun and learn from each other during the game.
