I like DOG, STREAM and POISON as well, in that order. I would consider FARM to be a warning against picking KANGAROO.

Breastfeeding creates a STREAM of milk.
A LINK between mother and child. Perhaps capitals do link sentences together.

Perhaps the nipple is POINTy? Also it is the POINT of breasts, as in the biological purpose.
Child might sit in its mothers' LAP?
You would usually NAIL someone to create a child?

KANGAROOs are mammals who breastfeed?

Hmm, hard to see what four clues fit for this one...

* Kangaroo, because they're mammals; I feel relatively confident here. 

* Point, breasts are points, in a sense. 

* Lap, where you'd put a baby?

* Lock, as in locked on to feed? 


I don't know, not much fits. 


For our remaining Capital word, I like Limousine or perhaps Poison, as in capital punishment.

Of all the ones we raised, I think I'd go KANGAROO -> STREAM -> LINK -> POINT/LAP for actual Breastfeeding clues. POISON is interesting as the last 'Capital' word, but I prefer LIMOUSINE. I'll get the ball rolling since we're all in line on Kangaroo, and then you guys can keep going while I sleep (soon).
