Throwing around the idea for having another diplo pitboss. NO tech trading this time around as that probably was the more un-balancing part of the last diploPB. Start time perhaps mid January?

Would love to join a diplo game, but my initial plans were:

- Finish PB59
- Give yourself 1 or 2 month break
- Prepare CtH 3.0 in that time.

Since I don't see PB59 ending soon I have to sit this out for now. And don't you dare kill me in PB59, just so I can join this.

EDIT: Since this will be a diplo map you maybe also want to set the size of the map before voting on it. Not much reason to start a diplo game on a tight map like PB62 for example.

I think it's better to wait until PB59 ends to start this, and instead start a more generic game (or an Always War game) in the meantime.
I'm in a similar position as Charriu. I've been thinking for a long time that I want to join a diplo game. But I still have PB59 and now dedlurking in 63 as well.
Since it's such a big commitment, I think a lot of players will probably want to form teams for it. I know I would. I really want to emphasize quality over speed with a diplo game, especially quality of the reporting. Waiting for PB59 to end will give a larger pool of potential players, and they will be more dedicated.

On a related note, what's a good number of players for a diplo game? I assume it's around 7, because more than that sounds like people on far ends of the map would be too isolated from eachother.

Exact same thoughts as Lazteuq and Charriu. I'd play on a team/dedlurk someone after PB59 ends, but not before then.

How about starting once we have the required amount of players/around February then? That shouuuuld give enough time for pb59 to be over and those that need it, to have a short break.

Map size... Id prefer larger than normal. Like 15 cities per person before conflict is really needed. A game that reaches Modern. Diplo that involves "hey, if you nuke Superdeath, i can run my Commando Modern Armor into his flank" Stuff like that..

So that is what im wanting as far as map size/cities/tiles per person.

I'm feeling overcommitted with PB63, so instead I'll watch with great interest!
