Fair enough, that makes sense. I suppose my question says more about my impatience than the nature of this game.

Once machine guns hits the field you're looking at tanks (and marines) to make inroads. Blimps help if you can get them in range, but there's a limit to how much they can bombard.
You cannot attack into cannons with rifles/cannons. The first strike is too much. Machine guns in cities make it worse but cavalry (optimally with airships) can kinda fight them. Infantry does not change the equation significantly. To make gains vanrober would need at least one of tanks/marines or artillery. Harassing bellarchs coastal cities with oil ships would be an option but that also is difficult when they are defended by machine guns.
Edit: Moreover, from a strategic viewpoint vanrober should pursue low risk paths to victory. His advantage is big enough.
From what I can see all players have conceded. Should we ask the others again for confirmation? It seems only bellarch's opinion is relevant anyway.
i 2nd Bellarch's opinion being the only one relevant in this scenario.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Seeing as this game just ended 7 turns after my last tracking tool report, I will most likely not do another one for the end as the general numbers haven't changed that much since my last T200 report
