...and wow!
Just read the last few updates and a whole (big) country is gone.
Would be fun to see the world burning like this poor continent you stumbled upon. Rule them all while your people hate you and cities are raging :D
Like Mordor unleaches his forces into the undefended grasslands, while Gondor and Rivendell are busy with their own chess-board and the dwarves just don't care anymore.
I have no idea how this will end but it's super thrilling.

Payday!
I'm glad that Morale knight was eventually useful for something.
Another one bites the dust:
GG Donovan! It was a fun war, I'm sorry you didn't get to do more things with your big empire. It seemed like Commodore did huge damage in the T150-ish era, but you guys definitely won out in the end.
And then there were 10.

So this was fun to read, and I am certainly ready to save my people via the whip. But it also got me thinking a little. Because you're right, who needs tile improvements anyway?
I'm been a bit pessimistic (about actually winning) recently for a couple of reasons. One of them is that even if we stop Piccadilly, I don't really see a way to defend from Miguelito nuking us afterwards. But the corp is easily enough to grow from 2->4 in two turns, always. So maybe just eating the radioactive cereal and ignoring the fallout is the answer! Just ignore the green glow, citizens, it's for your own good.

Thanks! Yeah, it looks like I need to commit to stopping Piccadilly here. If that doesn't work out, then we know how the game is going to end (and quickly). But if we manage to pull it off, I have no idea how it ends either! Miguelito would definitely be favoured, but we'd certainly still have a chance. And that chance would involve unleashing on several more people...
As a side note, I have been thinking about how to cut my 'to do list' down a little. I am considering only taking Lazteuq's islands, and then making peace permanently in the West to focus on the east (the Western troops would return for the Cairo war). I am also considering only sending the bare minimum towards Piccadilly ASAP and hoping to raze an SS-building city, before counting on Miguelito do the rest. The job that I definitely CAN'T cut is the Cairo one, which is ironic considering it has to happen later than the rest. Dilemma dilemma...

So, Whats the plan?
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. An actual Domination victory would be amazing.
Speaking of actual victory conditions... I have to say, the one ive NEVER been able to get (vs ai) outside of using the worldbuilder is Conquest. Do you have to just fly thru cities before they count towards domination? Feels like you pass the Domination threshold before you could possibly get Conquest...... Unless the only real way is with Vassals???

If this game actually ends in a legit Domination victory I will be thrilled!
Congrats so far man, I haven't been logging into RB in a few months, and this is pretty fantastic.

Thanks lewwyn, and nice to see you here! It's been a while, yeah. The crazy thing to me is how recent all this is; the original SD invasion only started 16 turns ago.

T233 Part One
I didn't get a chance to finish my turn tonight, but I do have a curiosity/question for lurkers. I had three cities set to 1-turn settlers last turn, but only one of them completed it. The other two both(!) had their settlers on 99/100 hammers, but I am certain that they had 1 turn on the settler last turn. All three cities grew a size on the inter-turn, as that was why I picked them for settler-builds. The 99/100 thing in 2/3 cities seems too specific to be a coincidence, so am I missing something? A feature? A bug? No idea, except that it's very sad.
An explanation from anyone who does have an idea would be appreciated, though.
I also just spent an 1.5hours on city management without even thinking about where to move units. I might need to find a way to speed these turns up.

Hello. I logged in before Piccadilly initially, but did not move any units in his area until after he played. I moved after him last turn, also, so no actual double moving has occurred. Am I allowed to declare war on him now? I would like to sink a ship of his.
The ship I want to sink is this privateer, under Cairo's stack. I am 100% sure that no relevant units of mine were moved before Piccadilly played.
I would appreciate lurker feedback on the issue, because I don't think I can just make a judgment call here. It's a bit messy. Cheers.

I think that should be ok, especially if you are just sinking 1 priv and not doing anything else hostile this turn already? Might be good idea to send pm to Picc where you explain that you had not moved any units and so on.
