Meatloaf without brown sugar is just bad. Always have had mine with.
My grandma has a very nice recipe for Hamballs that i could share if anyone likes those.

Feeling better again today, hopefully that means I can get through work without calling out sick today. But better for this, I should be able to grab the turn in a few hours.

Lurker made a comment in my thread that I shouldn't play and I asked for clarification. Still waiting for that clarification...

I have to say these are some very different recipes than what we had growing up
Plain rice porridge
Serves two
1 cup uncooked white rice, rinsed briefly
7-10 cups of water, per your preference, I usually go with around 8
Place water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, add rice and bring to a boil again, then reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally, until cooked to desired consistency and water is cloudy from released starch. Alternatively, use a corresponding amount of leftover cooked rice and add it to the water right away, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Note that the porridge will continue to thicken over time as more starch is released and more water evaporates.
Serve with salted duck egg, pickled vegetables, or some canned unagi or fried dace with salted black beans
