I would guess those first strikes are a problem somewhere in the combat script, so it's easier to just just forbid this.
Good luck for your attack, whatever number of days it may last... make marbleland(?) super dead
The day fast approaches. Hoping only 1t of bombarding. Probably going to be 2. Going to raze, and keep going till im bled dry from either Tarkeel or Strike. Also recaptured 2 cities on the west coast because i need wealth builds badly.

I should survive one more turn to be able to capture or raze (i want to raze.. but depends on how much of my stack is left..) Tarkeel's border city. Went with another turn of bombarding because i still have plenty of knights that would get shit odds without it.

May or May not survive this turn, depends on if Amica wants to storm his tanks forward into Tarkeel territory or not to kill my units. Id really like my knights to get to do their thing... but Amica probably doesnt care

I’m still reading the thread! Was that the sound of tornado sirens in the background? Hope you stay safe…
No comment on the combat odds, I don’t want those 80% losses rubbing off on me

Why yes, those were Tornado sirens in the background. Check out the last 2-4hrs of Iowa radar.. its been FUN.
Those combat odds were kinda stupid for most of the fights, i won 1 low-ish odds fight which told the game i needed to lose 3-4 70%+ fights and not win any 20-30% fights.

In general, my goal in this game was to be left alone in the corner and tech away and had no intentions of attacking either of you. I'd say that my #1 mistake was landing you as the neighbor. Mistake #2 was thinking you would understand my peaceful intentions towards you; remember that all the wars between us were initiated by you. As for #3 wasn't as east as you think, given the need to defend against you.
In general, your diplomatic overtures in recent games has made it very hard to take any deals offered by you at face value.

(he declared on me last turn for some odd reason, and hasnt done anything... maybe its part of some Copper/copper for War that Tarkeel sent him as they both are copper/copper each other...) -side note- Tarkeel siding with the large DZ instead of me is more than a bit dumb. Tarkeels actions this game have made me scratch my head more than once and have lowered my expectations of him for future games. That war was from trying to signal to DZ/TBS when I would join in. Instead he declared on me and sunk the flanking force that would come in from the south.

Scratch almost I guess? And you wonder why I was happy to have you and Commodore as buffer between myself and TBS...

Peaceful intentions, and then helping DZ when i was about to actually start making gains? O.o
You, with your tech lead could have had enough land to stop Amica (or halt him a bit) had you sided with me (who had a hatred for my conquest being taken by TBS) and instead went with the backwards DZ.... Interesting.

Superdeath knows how to get my attention. It's on the todo list.
