I know right?

This is the city I took from Fable in East. Hoping to culturally grab 2nd fish, so fishing song with the mood about the overall chances I think I have this game.

Of course I have a plan. Its one of my strengths (and sometimes curse). I noticed no one had gone top of the tree..... So I'm going for the free artist. I'm actually not going to use the merchant out of Bloody Rose as its the only type I'll have trouble getting going forward. I have another GP due out of capital in less than 12 turns assuming I get Parthenon. I'll use that and artist for a GA and try to get at least two close back to back GA with two more GPs out of the capital. Am I the only one without machinery and new age of military units. Sure sure sure. But quantity is a quality of its own.....

There has been A LOT of diplo. Finally got open borders and fish for fish with Vanrober / Bing. Cornflakes keeps trying to get me to commit to an attack vs Ginger. Again my #1 power is very much a case of a large outdated military he could roll over after though.... Nice try though alright . I did warn Ginger as well, which might  have helped get him to sell his Marble. I'm kind of mad with Mackoti btw. Tried multiple ways to get marble from him.

I'm curious if Cornflakes will betray Cairo or not or actually try to take Ginger. Cornflakes has never seemed like the type to betray but will see. I expect it eventually if he doesn't try to roll into Ginger, but question will be when.

I really thought we were going to have a 3v1 Jack war ...... Now its just Bing. Jack will for sure lose 1 city on that border, hopefully he retreats his mini stack there and then whips out an army to retake. Looks like Jack paid a city to both Cornflakes and SD. Then Cornflakes went to war with Ginger on T137 like he said he would, but then peaced out /shrug. It looks like maybe because SD is acting as a counterweight, which is good. I actually once again held back the impulse to stab him in the back for exactly this reason.

Anyways real reason I'm posting is Cornflakes was evidently following me up the top of the tree and snagged the artist...... Even if I had skipped Drama I don't think I could have gotten until next turn though (without massive wealth builds). This is a huge blow to me. I mean I still have 1 GA coming, which isn't nothing, but its decidedly middle of the pack nothing special kind of work.

Is this just to make SD nervous? I think Cornflakes being on his border is already doing that, but I am very bribabal being this far behind, so I took the gold. Sent SD fish for fish after so he doesn't think I'm invading.

Would you mind posting a pic of your demos? It's difficult to tell how far behind you are compared to the current leaders. I'm still hoping for the comeback victory.

I got the Parthenon last turn and my 2nd GP this turn. I'm waiting 1 turn to launch my 2nd GA, which seems like a good time to post demos lol . My GNP actually has been ok, but I clearly need more land.

SD looks set to attack Cornflakes. I'm a little worried about Cairo actually. He just put a stack of triremes off my coast, but his power hasn't been going up that much.

I'm a little torn between military buildup to do something... and infrastructure. I'm going to attempt to get by with my #1 outdated military as is + some random elephants thrown in.

People love rankings and who's winning analysis, so lets do one quick, but not in order. More in general groups.

Tier 1:
Cornflakes: has to hold off SD / other vultures but probably holds slight lead.
Ginger going for Monk wonders and may*** be able to vulture some Cornflakes
Superdeath. I'm very curious why he doesn't war peace Cornflakes and go kill Jack. That's what I would do.

Tier 2:

Mjmd. Mainly off of my number of cities and incoming GA.

Bing (yes the space above is intentional). Number of cities is main issue, but is bordering some of the weaker players in Jack and Cairo, which still puts in tier 2 in my opinion.

Tier 3:
Cairo. Needs to make a move with the upcoming SD & Cornflakes war. I am unsure if he will.

Deadman walking:
Jack. Definitely a sophomore slump.

Considering I've been building pop for this....... Its not actually that impressive.  I turn on tech next turn and I think I'll be able to tech for the remaining 7 turns of the GA. Switched into organized this turn.

I could have launched last turn, but didn't have the gold for a 7 turn burn (btw I did build 145g worth of fail gold from Great Library few turns back). And honestly I really wanted to spread religion to fish in the sea, which was done this turn. BTW Mingulay a few turns back got my 2nd!!!! religion spread of the game.

Ok people who are good at spotting buildings. Why in the world did Cornflakes grab the fish cultuarlly? He has his religion in Fables old capital vs my theater plus monastery. He isn't in caste. The only thing I can figure is he settled the great artist vs just creating a great work??? But I don't think Cornflakes would do that.

Hard for me to tell, he didn't pop 3rd-ring borders in the bottom city right? Also, I love your city's aqueduct placement. Give that engineer a raise smile

That was an exp ottoman leftover. My bad for not showing all of it. Its not as cool as Gingers, but I hear you all have seen that already.

But ya these are all new Fable cities, so no 3rd ring borders. What's even weirder is that the plains tile is also going to flip, but that to me indicates some amount of culture has to be coming from his other city to flip the fish sooner, which that city doesn't even  have his religion so even more of a mystery.

Cornflakes GNP has been garbage recently. I wonder if he did settle the artist...... But you would think if he went all t he way to that tech he would have a plan for a GA with it. /shakes fist at Cornflakes taking away my plan for an easy 3rd GA.
