Well, that's fine with a succession game it'd be easy enough to slot you in when you can play, although we'd have to take our time playing the turns, which is just fine with me. I'm also ok with just a regular game, since it seems high-to-low isn't popular. I would like to suggest using the mapscript Erebus Continent, available here, over the Erebus one that comes with the mod, since in my experience the latter creates incredibly unbalanced maps with way too many mountains and vast resource-less forests. Erebus Continents is a lot better, and very customizable.

Will happily lurk this / fill in if the number of players drops (4-5 is sweet spot IMO and I think you;ve got that covered). FWIW:
- Malakim: Varn is fun, and playing Evil and burning the world down has somehow lost it's charm over the last few years, so, for me, Good is good - Erebus Continent: yes, much better than Erebus There ought to be a Bob Chillingworth Memorial game, but the idea would need to be ... special.

I'd like to sign up, don't mind what sort of game it is (just mentioning that i nthe context of the switch from MP to Succession).
I’ve been gone for a while (thought I quit this game already). So only saw your message now Mig
 . So yeah, I’m tempted to play a PBEM if one ever happens again. At least 5 players would be nice. I’ll try to check the forum more often to see if this gets going or not. I won’t play SG though.
Sorry, I have not been giving this thread enough attention even though I started it. To be honest, my playtime has been pretty absorbed by an Illians game
 I will open a new thread for the succession game and keep this one for the PBEM. We could play between the four of us, but I will make an attempt first over at Civforum.de to see if maybe we can recruit one or two more. Dave, would you be willing to dedlurk a newbie maybe? I don't know how experienced Bing is with the mod, Bing you tell please if you would enjoy a teammate.
I would love a dedlurker, I mainly played different FFH2 modmods and it was a while ago and only SP.
Ok, my attempts on Civforum have been unsuccessful, let's just roll with 4 then?
I really liked the last game's (LIV?) format for picks - pick one of three randomly assigned leaders, would you be up for doing that again, or do you prefer a different method. I also liked the pace at Immortal, but Emperor would probably do as well. Finally, anybody up for making/rolling a map? naufragar's was very nice in my opinion, although maybe a little spacey. |
