Currently still building units due to JackRB moving his stack(s) towards my border. Once someone else declares, ill try and get a city out of the deal and run mass wealth while pushing for a certain tech..
I'm not smart enough to figure out the mystery tech you're talking about. Boo artificial suspense, boo!

"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

2 knights and a HA for 2 longbows, 2maces, and a warrior + ton of workers.. (and 3 cities) Not a bad deal so far..
Cornflakes popped a GA and is feeding all of his available $ into espionage. Annoying, but it keeps him from finishing Engineering anyway. When i rolled the turn, he shut off a large chunk of my vision on him.
If everything goes as planned, i SHOULD capture 2 cities. 3, if he just retreats instead of filling Rhuidean with extra longbows. Ginger has been INCHING forward with his stack, but hasnt declared or done anything else. So, after doing my next turn i will send a peace treaty. Either Blank, or for gold/a city. Depending on how much damage Cornflakes/i do.
JackRB has moved his stack down from where my units are, and more toward the center of his empire.... I dont trust that he isnt going to just go towards my moai/capital so im still building units and leaving them near that border. IF i can get a safe peace, im building wealth and teching. Cuirs and eventually Cav's are my Go-To.
Is it a bad decision?

I see you built a pile of rocks in T138 and called it Chichen Itza. How did that happen and what was your thought process there?

Happened in a commerce city that didnt really have anything else to build, i was planning on getting fail gold out of it, because i figured someone under attack/soon to be such as JackRB would finish it. Then, i saw JackRB making some moves towards me, and Cornflakes looking less and less likely to be a straight up win, and more like a gruelling slugfest... so figured the extra defense would be nice.

Sigh. So not only did Bing fuck me out of a somewhat easy conquest.. Ginger decided to not invade. SOOOOOOOOO, Cornflakes isnt taking any peace offer, and looks to be in total war mode. Im only slightly tempted to run my knights over to Gingers land and raze what i can out of spite and hope Mjmd can win from there.
I believe i can edge out Cornflakes in the long-term.. but that relys on Mjmd being able to hold Ginger, JackRB continuing to act like Cairo and Cairo continuing whatever he is doing. Once im secure enough in military ill be building mass wealth. Not the best plan, but its about the only thing i got.

I've only been dipping into this game periodically. Are you referring to the war with Jack or something else?
Good luck!

Yes. Bing accepted what was VERY clearly a "hey, we/i will declare war on X turn (gold amount that i demanded from him)"
was about 10-13t earlier than i wanted. That made JackRB rush to finish engineering and crank out far more military than i think he would have otherwise. I was ALLL set to swallow him whole in less than 15t. Minus a city or two that vultures/bing would have grabbed. Would have made me a true counterweight to Cornflakes, but nooooooooooooooooooooooo.

5ish? turns left on peace. JackRB.... i dont fault him if he does declare war on me. I wont be happy about it tho.
Cornflakes. In a 1v1 scenario, whomever hits first wins. Seeing that he decided this was the turn to move up... I assume that his city will be popping borders or something like that. Now, my captured city will ALSO be popping borders, so 2 things scared me enough to at the very least take precautions... : 1. Dont know if he will magically get the city either by slamming knights into its defenses, or some weird culture shit. 2. Dont know if the city will have a revolt or just be "like new" thus, i needed to pull back and cut a road. Cornflakes OF COURSE has open borders with JackRB and is feeding him 25gpt in two seperate deals, one of which was probably to entice him into joining vs me.
Power's continue to rise, except for Bing who i have to guess is just as checked out as Cairo if not somehow MORE.
Gnp is still slipping.. I cant compete if i need to build units with my production centers. I offered Cornflakes the city for peace, and he didnt take it.. Sooooooooo, I guess Ginger wins? Do we call it now? 80% chance Ginger wins, 15% Mjmd, 5% me or Cornflakes. 5% any of the rest. Those are my odds.

You used the same picture for both Jack and Cornflakes btw.
Nevermind, different stack composition shown.
